Elvis Presley Estate Releases ‘(You’re The) Devil in Disguise’ Animated Music Video

Elvis Presley might be 6-feet under, but his music still walks among us.

In this newly released video by Elvis Presley’s estate, an animated character can be seen walking through different animated scenes of heaven and well, hell. This woman dons different outfits, as well as transitioning back and forth between horns and halos. She’s also surrounded by different monsters like Frankenstein, Dracula, and a werewolf.

The caption below the video reads, “Share it with someone who looks like an angel!” And it also notes that this is the first-ever music video for (You’re The) Devil in Disguise. Perhaps this was all timed out perfectly for Halloween since it’s gaining traction in views. This hit single peaked at number three on the Billboard singles chart in 1963.

The single was certified “Gold” by the Recording Industry Association of America after surpassing 500,000 units sold in the United States. (You’re The) Devil in Disguise recording took place in Nashville, TN, and was on the “B” side of the album  “Please Don’t Drag That String Around.”

Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Priscilla and the late Elvis Presley, is heir to her father’s estate. However, she doesn’t necessarily own the royalty rights to the extensive collection of music the King of Rock and Roll released. Furthermore, the Presley estate co-owns the copyrights for some songs Elvis covered.

Lisa Marie Presley Owns Graceland Estate

Lisa Marie Presley maintains 100% sole personal ownership of Graceland Mansion itself and its over 13-acre original grounds. Earlier this year, Presley laid her her late-son, Benjamin Keough, to rest at the estate beside his grandfather, Elvis Presley. Presley and Keough are joined by other members of the family – great-grandmother, Gladys Presley, great-grandfather, Vernon Presley, and great-great-grandmother, Minnie Mae Presley.
