With these up-to-date sketches of Brian Laundrie, a renowned forensic sketch artist shows what the wanted man should look like after weeks on the run.

23-year-old Brian Laundrie would disappear amidst the investigation to locate his late fiancee, Gabby Petito. Now on the run for over three weeks, a famed forensic sketch artist and former medical doctor, Lois Gibson, is describing what Laundrie should look like currently.

“He will have lost a bunch of weight,” Gibson says in an extensive interview with The Sun. “Even if he’s got a bunch of money on him – it’s hard to eat when you’re on the run. It gnaws away at you.”

Along with her analysis, Gibson is sharing a series of sketches that show the “potential changes” to Laundrie.

“Life will be hard for Brian Laundrie right now. Very hard. And that will show in the form of weight loss,” she cites.

From his native Florida to Canada, Mexico and the 2,200-mile Appalachian Trail, sightings of Brian Laundrie are pouring in to the FBI. Independent bounty hunters, like Duane ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’ Chapman, are on the hunt for him, as well.

The belief is that Laundrie is hiding out in the wilderness. He showed great interest in becoming a ‘survivalist’ prior to Gabby Petito’s disappearance, his family says.

Lois Gibson holds a Guinness World Record for the most ever identifications by a forensic artist. She’s now lending her expertise to the massive manhunt.

“I have my opinions” Gibson adds, citing her 39-years of experience in forensic science. “He’s trying to make it a survival thing, which is likely to involve camping.”

“When you’re out in the open like that, you’re going to get a lot of extra sun to the point of suffering some skin damage. He’s likely to have a lot of redness or rosacea across his face, like sometimes how you see on a homeless person,” she continues.

This includes a loss of at least 10-15 pounds, Gibson says, “regardless of how much money [for food] he has on him.”

In her updated sketches above, Gibson includes identifiers that Brian Laundrie may have “intentionally changed” in his appearance. He would do so to avoid detection, she says, including shaving his beard.

“Because his beard and mustache are very, very distinctive, I believe he would’ve shaved pretty quickly. He’d be crazy if he didn’t shave because it would be so easy to spot him.”

Gibson also says that Laundrie “should be” growing his hair out, potentially dying it a lighter color. His distinctive, balding hairline, however, will mean he is most likely wearing a hat. She includes one in her sketches as a result.

“About 90 percent of crooks on the run wear a baseball cap when they’re trying to get away or hide their features,” she details. From his social media, too, Gibson says ” it’s clear he likes wearing ball caps. They’re also good for survival in the outdoors because they help keep you shielded from the sun.”

Sunglasses will be something to look out for, as well. The COVID-19 Pandemic will likely have Brian Laundrie also wearing a mask; allowing him to hide his entire face and blend into crowds in plain sight.
