As the search continues for Gabby Petito’s boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, his neighbors are now urging him to turn himself in to local authorities.

The disappearance and subsequent discovery of Petito’s body has led to further unanswered questions in recent days. With Laundrie seemingly on the run, a massive multi-agency manhunt has ensued in Florida around the Carlton Reserve. In addition, the FBI is requesting the public’s help, and asking everyone to keep an eye out regardless of where they live.

Neighborsfriends, and witnesses have all come forward with any information they may have regarding Laundrie. Officials are following up on even the tiniest details that could lead to them finding the prime suspect in Gabby Petito’s death. As of Wednesday afternoon, his whereabouts are still unknown.

Local news station WFLA in Tampa, Florida spoke to some of Laundrie’s neighbors. The outlet spoke to Gary Coble who lives a few streets over from the 23-year-old suspect and his family. Their neighborhood has been overrun with police, FBI agents, and the media reporting on the national story. The national coverage of the case has Coble’s family from out-of-state worried.

“I got my daughter in Indiana and my sister-in-law in New York. And they both called and wanted to know what was going on,” Coble told WFLA.

Yet Laundrie’s neighbors, including Coble, are now pleading with Brian Laundrie to turn himself in.

“Turn yourself in. They’re hunting. They’ll find ya,” Coble said to the outlet.

Gabby Petito’s Body Was Found With Help From Witness Who Saw Brian Laundrie ‘Acting Weird’

A tip from an eyewitness helped the FBI discover Gabby Petito’s body in Grand Teton National Park on Sunday.

The 22-year-old and her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, were on a cross-country trip in her van over the last few months. However, Laundrie returned to their home state of Florida in her van without Petito in recent weeks. Sadly, Petito’s family had their worst fears come true when officials found her body over the weekend.

In fact, 38-year-old graphic designer, Jessica Schultz, helped authorities with their search, according to The Daily Mail. For the last four years, Schultz has lived and traveled in her Airstream camper. The graphic designer just so happened to be camping at Spread Creek in Wyoming at the same time as Brian Laundrie recently.

Schultz told authorities that she camped there with friends from Aug. 22 to Aug. 29. She claims she saw Laundrie on Aug. 26, Aug. 27, and maybe on Aug. 28. However, Gabby Petito was nowhere to be seen.

“He was very… kind of awkward and confused. It was just him, there was no Gabby,” Schultz said.

“In that time frame, we all independently noticed that van,” Schultz added.

“He was just acting weird. You know, when you’re out in the middle of nowhere, your hackles go up when you see something that’s out of the ordinary,” she told The San Francisco Chronicle.
