Nearly one week after Gabby Petito’s body was discovered in the Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming, Dog the Bounty Hunter visits the home of Petito’s fiance, Brian Laundrie, to help search for more clues about her initial disappearance.

News Nation Now correspondent Brian Entin filmed Dog the Bounty Hunter (aka Duane Chapman) visiting the Florida home on Saturday (September 25th). The reality TV star is seen walking around the home.

Dog the Bounty Hunter previously spoke to Newsweek about the Gabby Petito Case. He advised law enforcement to really look more into Laundrie’s record. “We need to see what his background is, as far as domestic violence or anything else.”

The reality TV star also stated with the circumstances and actions done by Gabby Petito’s fiancé prior to his disappearance are pointing towards the 23-year-old man being the defendant in the case. “To look at the age, so far. I haven’t got any inside info yet.”

Dog The Bounty Hunter thinks that while Gabby Petito’s fiance is not an experienced runner or criminal, suicide is definitely possible for the missing 23-year-old. “And it seems like he’s kind of an outdoors kid.”

The reality TV star further explained that when he’s searching for people, they are usually not actually far away, but closer to home. “A lot of times they say he’s out of state. When he’s right there in his hometown, you know.”

The Gabby Petito Case So Far

In June 2021, Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie took off in a van to go on a cross-country road trip. Everything seemed to be going well between the couple, until the beginning of August.

Gabby Petito and Laundrie were stopped by police over a domestic dispute. But resumed the trip following the situation. Petito last spoke to her parents on August 25th.

Laundrie returned in the van, which belongs to Gabby Petito, without the 22-year-old woman on September 1st. Her parents filed a missing person’s report on September 11th. Laundrie notably set out on a hiking trip by himself in the Carlton Reserve in Sarasota Florida. His parents also filed a missing person’s report for him on September 17th.

The body of Gabby Petito was discovered on Sunday (September 19th). Her death has been ruled a homicide by the FBI. Law enforcement has labeled Laundrie as a person of interest in the case. The police are currently searching for him at the Carlton Reserve.

But a search-and-rescue expert believes that Gabby Petito’s fiance could be almost anywhere at this point and he may have lied about going to the Carlton Reserve, to begin with. Chris Boyer, the Executive Director of the National Association for Search and Rescue shared with Insider, “There’s any number of ways that he could have hitchhiked or somehow found a collaborator to give him a ride somewhere.

Boyer went on to add that Laundrie may not even be in Florida. “He’s had eight days to be on the run right now. He could be almost anywhere.
