As the FBI continues to investigate the disappearance of Gabby Petito, along with prepare for the autopsy of the body found in Grand Teton National Park on Sunday, we’re looking back at the facts. This includes more details about the parents of Brian Laundrie, Petito’s fiancee and potential suspect in the case.

According to Fox News, the parents of Gabby Petito’s fiancee are Christopher Laundrie, age 62, and Roberta Laurdrie, age 55. They live in North Port, Florida. Along with Brian, the couple has an older daughter, Cassandra Cassie Laundrie, age 32. The Laundries also run their commercial juicing equipment company, Juicer Service, from their home.

Gabby Petito moved in with Brian and his parents in 2019 and got engaged last year. The young adults worked at a Publix supermarket prior to taking their cross-country road trip.

Gabby Petito’s fiancee has notably been missing since September 14th. His parents reportedly filed a missing person report on September 17th.  The Laundrie family recently issued a statement after the FBI discovered a body that may actually be the remains of Petito. The statement reads, “The news about Gabby Petito is heartbreaking. The Laundrie family prays for Gabby and her family.”

The police have also declared the Laundrie’s home as a crime scene. Brian’s parents were placed in a black van parked on their property. They seem to be following directors from officers and complying with orders. Federal agents reputedly carried out pink evidence envelopes into the Florida home along with equipment.

Brian Laundrie’s Sister Speaks Out About Gabby Petito’s Disappearance

Although his parents have largely remained quiet, Brian Laundrie’s sister, Cassie, has spoken out about Gabby Petito’s disappearance. During a recent interview with Good Morning America, Cassie stated she wishes she could talk to her younger brother. “I’ve cooperated every way that I can. I wish I had information or I would give more.

Cassie then shared that she and her family obviously want Gabby Petito to be found safe and the missing woman like a sister to her. “My children love her. All I want is for her to come home safe and sound. [For all] this to just a big misunderstanding.”

Brian’s sister also discussed the almost domestic assault charge that Gabby Petito almost received in early August after she allegedly attacked her fiancée. “It looks typical of both of them. Whenever they fight, they would take a little break and come back and be fine.”

Cassie also told the media outlet that she answered the police calls even though her brother refused to. “I talked to the police the second they called,” she explained. Brian’s sister further noted she and her family were in Orlando on vacation when the police called and her family came home to the investigation.
