Gabby Petito: Dog the Bounty Hunter Believes Brian Laundrie’s Parents Aided in His Disappearance

Despite lacking the public’s full support and despite some iffy legalities regarding his jurisdiction, Dog the Bounty Hunter remains attached to the Gabby Petito case and the search for Brian Laundrie. Officials recently announced that they are scaling back the search for Laundrie at the Floridian reserve. This leads the public to wonder: could Dog’s “hottest lead” point their search in another direction? Backed by one of his daughters, Dog continues to speak out openly about where he thinks the investigation is lacking. Most recently, he told the press that he believes Brian Laundrie’s parents aided in his disappearance.

Dog’s Lead Takes Him to a Campsite That Laundrie Family Visited At Least Twice

With so many “armchair lawyers” and “internet sleuths” popping up, many people are simply interested in the facts. Well, the facts are as follows. Dog the Bounty Hunter’s anonymous tip line reeled in thousands upon thousands of tips since he announced his involvement. One massive lead led him to discover Florida’s Fort De Soto Park. Located less than 100 miles from the Laundrie home, this site allegedly hosted two trips by the family. Dog says registration and video cameras confirm this, but officials have made no such evidence available to the public yet.

While these details started to get publicized, the Laundrie family attorney made another statement:

“[Brian’s parents] are concerned about Brian and hope the FBI can locate him,” said Bertolino. “The speculation by the public and some in the press that the parents assisted Brian in leaving the family home or in avoiding arrest on a warrant that was issued after Brian had already been missing for several days is just wrong.”

Still, Dog and much of the public just won’t accept this given the Laundrie’s continued silence regarding Gabby Petito’s disappearance and homicide. Dog also caught wind of more information that seemingly doesn’t add up.

“What we’re hearing is, two people left [the campsite] on the 8th. Three people came in on the 6th, and two people left on the 8th. I think he’s been here for sure.” He also went on to describe being disappointed in the Laundrie family for refusing to talk to him. “It’s a shame they wouldn’t speak with us…I wanted to tell the Laundries that our goal is to find Brian and bring him in alive.”

As of Tuesday morning, reports showed no police activity over Ft. DeSoto. This may change as the day goes on.

‘Find Gabby Petito’ Page Ups Reward For Information Leading to Brian Laundrie’s Exact Whereabouts

As protesters continue to put pressure on the Laundrie family outside their residence, Brian’s bounty also continues to increase. As it currently stands, the reward for information leading to Brian Laundrie’s exact whereabouts is nearly $200k. This comes after initial rewards of one-tenth of that sum or $20k. One of the many “Find Gabby Petito” pages lists a variety of sponsors for the reward. These include law firms, morning shows, the Petito family, and some of their neighbors.
