Internet sleuths and followers of the Gabby Petito case have scoured her social media profiles to get a better understanding of the van-lifer before her death in August. This includes her Pinterest page. On the site, the 22-year-old created collections of photos that hinted at her plans for marriage and growing a family. Petito named one of the folders “life goals,” which contained ideas for her wedding. Another, named “Oh Baby,” was full of maternity and baby posts. Collaborators on both folders were the assumed account of Brian Laundrie as well as his mother, Roberta.

Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie got engaged in July 2020, almost a full year before the young adventurist disappeared. According to Petito’s stepfather, though, they had to postpone plans for the wedding because of COVID restrictions. Instead, the couple opted to “live life” and travel the country together. However, this didn’t stop the vlogger from continuing to create vision boards of her big day and future ahead.

Not surprisingly, Petito dreamt of an outdoor wedding in a picturesque setting, not unlike what she and Laundrie posed in front of in their final photos together on her Instagram. Some images on her wedding board included brides and grooms in front of waterfalls or adorning backpacks.

It seems Gabby Petito wanted every element of her wedding to reflect her love for the outdoors, including potted succulents as potential party favors. One image even had a banner hanging from a tree branch that read, “Two people in the woods is the start of a fairytale.”

This photo, in particular, now takes on more of an ominous meaning, as police found Gabby Petito’s body in Grand Teton National Park.

Gabby Petito Supporters Express Sorrow From Seeing Pinterest Page

On October 12, autopsy results revealed that Petito’s cause of death was strangulation by “human force.” With a better understanding of who Gabby Petito was before her tragic death, supporters and followers of the case expressed their despair for the loss of such a young life.

“She wanted a wedding, a baby, she wanted to have a family & a future,” one person wrote on her Pinterest page. “You deserved better than this Gabby, so much better.”

“Just absorbing the #GabbyPetito news thinking of everything she could have had in her life. A man that loves her with all her quirks. Her wedding day with him. Their children,” another said.

“The most beautiful young woman, just starting her life,” a third user shared. “My heart hurts so badly for people I don’t know on the other side of the world. She had all of her hopes and dreams ahead of her stolen.”

As internet sleuths dig deeper into Gabby Petito’s past, Brian Laundrie still remains at large.
