Gabby Petito’s family spoke out earlier today for the first time since her body was found in Wyoming last weekend. Part of their public address included their thoughts on outside help from sources like Dog the Bounty Hunter in finding Petito’s missing partner, Brian Laundrie.
Laundrie disappeared on Sept. 14, after returning to his parent’s home in North Port, Florida on Sept. 1 without Petito. Authorities continue searching for him, wanting to ask him about Petito’s death, which was ruled a homicide. There’s also a warrant out for his arrest for fraud, after he used someone else’s debit card during Petito’s disappearance. At this time, they have not charged him with anything in Gabby Petito’s death.
During the press conference, reporters asked what the family thought of Dog the Bounty Hunter’s efforts to track Laundrie. Gabby Petito’s family attorney, Richard Stafford, said, “We welcome help and will take help from everybody.”
The attorney added, “We’d just like… we ask for help from everyone. If they see Brian Laundrie, we are asking they call law enforcement or the FBI.”
Gabby Petito’s family confirmed during the press conference that they’re putting their full faith and trust in the FBI to find Laundrie. “The Petito parents are 100% with the FBI. They’ve been with us every step of the way. We know they will bring justice for the family.”
But the Petitos now have another resource in Dog the Bounty Hunter.
Dog the Bounty Hunter Claims Brian Laundrie’s Parents Helped Him in New Findings for Gabby Petito Case
As of today, Dog claimed to have video footage of Gabby Petito’s partner Brian Laundrie and his parents entering and leaving Fort De Soto Park in Florida. The park’s located less than 100 miles from the Laundrie home.
Dog said registration reports show the family visiting the park on Sept. 1-3 and Sept. 6-8. But Brian Laundrie didn’t leave the park after the second trip.
“Allegedly, what we’re hearing, is two people left [the campsite] on the 8th. Three people came in on the 6th, and two people left on the 8th. I think he’s been here for sure,” Dog told Fox News.
He added, “We think at least if he’s not here right now, we are sure he was caught on camera as he went in the gate — that he was here for sure. Not over in the swamp.”
The swamp in question is Carlton Reserve, close to the Laundrie’s home in North Port, Florida. That’s where Chirs and Roberta Laundrie reported their son said he was going hiking when they reported him missing on Sept. 17. Police continue searching the reserve, with little luck so far. At this point in time, they haven’t ventured into Fort De Soto Park with Dog the Bounty Hunter yet.
