Kid Rock is seemingly criticizing Lady Gaga in a new social media post. Gaga received backlash for stereotyping “rednecks” in a recent endorsement for Democratic candidate Joe Biden.

Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, posted a photo of himself wearing full camo. He stood next to a massive elk that he recently killed. He reminded the public that people wear camouflage for hunting.

In the caption, he wrote, “In case you kids were wondering what camo is really worn for.”

Kid Rock Criticized Lady Gaga for Wearing Camo

While Rock doesn’t mention Gaga by name, she recently received backlash online for wearing full camo in an endorsement for Biden. Some saw the attire as pandering to a “redneck” stereotype.

In the video, Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, wore a tied-off camo shirt, camo pants, and knee-high boots. She posed next to a large pick-up truck and also attempted to shotgun a beer. Some saw it as a move by the singer to appeal to rural voters. But others said she ended up insulting them instead.

In the video, the singer said she would vote in her native Pennsylvania and encouraged her followers to vote as well. She said, “And if you live in Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Florida, or Arizona, I encourage you to vote.”

In a separate tweet, Gaga posted a picture of herself in an all-terrain vehicle with a beer and another where she hugged Biden.

“That’s a pic of me in Pennsylvania when I lived in Lancaster. I LOVE THIS STATE. I’m here now!” She wrote in the tweet. “This place is filled with good-hearted people—good-hearted people that @JoeBiden loves. He’s a good friend. He’s the President this country needs to bring us back together. #vote#Biden.”

In response, Trump attempted to use Gaga’s endorsement against Biden. He pointed out that the singer was against fracking, which employs thousands of workers in Pennsylvania.
