Lady Gaga Continues Political Posts With Positive Outlook: ‘We’ve Got This America’

Lady Gaga has a positive outlook on the election race, even as it continues into Wednesday (Nov. 4). She assured her followers that officials will “count” every vote.

In recent weeks, the singer endorsed Presidential Candidate Joe Biden for president and urged her followers to vote. Gaga’s native state of Pennsylvania remains one of several battleground states that will decide the election.

In a tweet, the singer wrote, “Every single vote in this country matters, will be counted and will matter! It is the emblem of our democracy! I have so much faith in the human spirit! We’ve got this America! Sending EVERYONE A BIG HUG!”

Unlike his daughter, Gaga’s father Joe Germanotta came out in support of President Donald Trump last night (Nov. 3). He wrote a short tweet, in which he tagged Trump. He wrote, “@realDonaldTrump 2020.”

Lady Gaga Received Backlash For “Stereotyping” Conservatives

Previously, Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, garnered backlash for stereotyping conservatives as “rednecks.”

In a video supporting Biden, Gaga wore full camo gear while standing next to a large pick-up truck. She also attempted to shotgun a beer in support of Biden. Some people saw the singer as pandering to rural voters. And others felt offended by Gaga’s attire, believing the singer portrayed a stereotype.

Even Kid Rock later called the singer out on Twitter, by explaining that people wear camouflage to go hunting. In a separate tweet, Gaga posted a picture of herself in an all-terrain vehicle with a beer and another where she hugged Biden.

“That’s a pic of me in Pennsylvania when I lived in Lancaster. I LOVE THIS STATE. I’m here now!” She wrote in the tweet. “This place is filled with good-hearted people—good-hearted people that @JoeBiden loves. He’s a good friend. He’s the President this country needs to bring us back together. #vote#Biden.”
