Pop superstar Lady Gaga has a sweet surprise in store for her fans. She’s been in collaboration with Oreo on a special release of cookies to promote her new album, Chromatica.
The new line of cookies takes inspiration from the 16-track dance album; the cookies feature neon colors such as bright pink and green.
According to a spokesperson for Oreo, fans of the limited-edition cookie will have to wait until January to get their hands on them. Oreo plans to sell the cookies in convenience stores around the country. The treats don’t stop there. Fans can sign up for the “Lady Gaga x Oreo Stan Club” allowing fans to opt in to be notified when the full-size packs are available.
Lady Gaga & Oreo’s Sweet Surprise for Fans
In addition, Oreo and Lady Gaga are working on a campaign called “Sing It With Oreo.” The campaign is an effort to “spread musical messages of kindness throughout the country.” The pair hopes that fans are encouraged to send messages to loved ones with music.
Fans who participate will have a chance to win Lady GaGa merchandise and experiences that include concert tickets and a meet and greet with the star.
Through the use of “Oreograms,” fans can create personal messages using the “Sing It With Oreo” website. Transforming the message into a song, fans can then share their personal creation with loved ones.
In a message from Oreo, one spokesperson describes the goal of the campaign.
“Whether it’s to show support, share affirmations, well wishes, or congratulatory messages, Lady Gaga OREOgrams are designed to inspire kindness.”
In May of 2020, Gaga released her sixth studio album, Chromatica. It became her sixth consecutive number-one album in the country and reached the top spot in more than a dozen other territories.
