Broadcasting legend, Larry King, has been hospitalized for COVID-19.
With numerous health issues including a heart attack, prostate and lung cancer, and type two diabetes, King is a high-risk patient. Additionally, King is 87-years old, which puts him at even greater risk when dealing with coronavirus symptoms. He is currently being treated at a hospital in Los Angeles, California.
Larry King Still Manages To Connect With His Family
King currently resides in Southern California, the site of one of the country’s worst coronavirus case number surges. Due to his condition, King is unable to see his wife of 23 years, Shawn King, and their two sons. However, a report from the Daily Mail says hospital officials are finding ways to keep King connected with his family.
King recently mourned the tragic deaths of two of his children, Andy King, who passed away in July of 2020 and Chaia King who passed away a month later. Andy passed unexpectedly of a heart attack and Chaia passed a short time after being diagnosed with lung cancer.
King responded to the loss of his children via a post on Facebook. He wrote, “It is with sadness and a father’s broken heart that I confirm the recent loss of two of my children, Andy King, and Chaia King. Both of them were good and kind souls and they will be greatly missed.”
