It’s official: America has decided on the most patriotic car. Americans have concluded that when it comes to the vehicle of the land of the free and the home of the brave, they choose the Jeep. The brand has retained the No. 1 spot for the 19th consecutive year as America’s “Most Patriotic Brand.”
Leading into the Fourth of July weekend, the beloved brand topped the list after Brand Keys conducted their annual survey of the most patriotic brands.
The market research company surveyed nearly 6,000 people from ages 16 to 65. They also surveyed Americans all across the political spectrum. They asked the participants to rank 1,172 brands on how patriotic they were during the survey.
As for the popular SUV, Jeep has strong ties to its World War 2 legacy and builds most of its vehicles right here in the United States.
“The Jeep community is like no other,” said Olivier Francois, Global Chief Marketing Officer, Stellaris. “With the Jeep brand’s recognition as America’s ‘Most Patriotic Brand,’ we see that there is no other automotive brand that is so instantly recognizable and none whose freedom proposition is cemented into the history of its home nation like the Jeep brand, and protected with such passion by its owners and enthusiasts not only in America but around the world.”
Another auto manufacturer, Ford, also made the list. The long-running company employs more hourly workers in the country than any other automaker. When it comes to cars built in the U.S., Ford sells the most.
Jeep Shows Grattitude to American Military Members
“Independence Day is an appropriate time to acknowledge the history and value of patriotism,” said Robert Passikoff, president of Brand Keys. “And those who have contributed to it. ‘Patriotism’ is one of the most powerful values a brand can own, and the Jeep brand has led the brand patriotism-parade since the Most Patriotic Brand in America survey was created.”
To honor U.S. military members, Jeep is offering special-edition Freedom models for the 2021 model year. These Jeep brand Freedom models include military-themed exterior and interior designs. The model consists of features like the large “Oscar Mike” military star decal on the hood. It also comes in matte black with Satin Carbon wheels. Of course, an American flag decal is on the side of the Jeep.
For Wrangler and Gladiator models, there’s an “Oscar Mike” decal on the rear tailgate. Additionally, Jeep is also making a donation to the USO every time someone buys a Freedom edition.
Jeep is also offering all active and recently retired service members $500 Military Bonus Cash across the lineup.
Jeep is also gearing up to release the new 2021 Grand Cherokee L and the all-new 2022 Grand Wagoneer. The brand is set to show off the new Wagoneer at the Auburn Hills, Michigan, complex.
