Phil Robertson Speaks Out on Amy Coney Barrett Supreme Court Confirmation

Phil Robertson is reacting to the news of Amy Coney Barrett’s supreme court confirmation, and the Duck Dynasty star is definitely a big fan of the move. The 74-year-old former A&E personality took to Instagram to speak out on Monday evening.

“Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett — I like the sound of that,” Robertson wrote. “Today is a win for life and liberty in America. Congratulations to the 115th justice of the Supreme Court. And thank you, President @RealDonaldTrump.”

The U.S. Senate voted 52-48 in favor of confirming Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court on Monday. Her confirmation comes only one week prior to the 2020 presidential election.

Phil Robertson Reveals Who He’s Voting For in 2020 Election

Phil Robertson is not one to shy away from sharing his political views on social media. Earlier this week, he took to Instagram to reveal how he plans to approach this year’s election.

The father of five writes in a post uploaded over the weekend, “The way I approach voting is the same way I approach everything: I check it out with the Almighty first. I listen to the politicians, and then I listen to God to see if they’re saying the same thing.”

He continues by writing: “I’m not what they call a ‘single-issue’ voter, but I’ll tell you one thing I know: If we aren’t willing to defend one group’s God-given right to ‘life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,’ no one is safe.”

In conclusion, Robertson explains why he plans to cast his ballot for President Donald Trump.

“No apologies, no backing down. On Election Day, I will vote for life,” he writes. “I will vote for Jesus Politics. I’ll be with Donald Trump when I cast my ballot.”
