Pillbury’s Releases Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cookie Dough

β€’

Walking into a house with Pillsbury dough in the oven is a beyond distinctive smell.

From classic chocolate chip to peanut butter to sugar cookies, Pillsbury offers a variety of classic and seasonal selections.

Now, the popular dough brand is joining forces with an iconic cereal. Cinnamon Toast Crunch, which has been on quite the kick when it comes to joining forces with other brands, is partnering with Pillsbury.

The Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnamon Flavored Cookie Dough will be similar to all of the Pillsbury brand creations. There will be pre-cut pieces of dough. However, this time it’s jam-packed with cinnamon and sugar flavor. Instead of the typical 24 count, this dough will only come in 12 pieces. Although that may seem like a let down, that’s quite the opposite.

Instead of a smaller sized cookie, Pillsbury is packing in more dough for each cookie. So while there’s not as many cookies, they are going to be twice as big.

According to Delish, the limited-edition dough has just popped up on Instacart. This means that the product isn’t necessarily being marketed at full-level yet. Retailers just got the product in and are likely prepping to sell it.

Given an extremely cinnamon-forward flavor, this dough will likely taste similar to a snickerdoodle.

The best part of it all is that the cookie dough can be eaten straight out of the container with a spoon and a hearty appetite. As of April of last year, Pillsbury changed the formula of their dough so it could be baked and eaten raw, deliciously and healthily. Even though that didn’t stop people in the past.

Recently, Cinnamon Toast Crunch has created a coffee creamer, a container of Cinnadust, a Toaster Strudel flavor, and a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milk N’ Cereal Bar. There’s no telling what’s next because at this rate, there definitely is more to come.

Insomnia Cookies New Flavor

While most grocery stores carry all things Pillsbury, popular cookie brand Insomnia Cookies relies on in-person or delivery orders.

Insomnia Cookies has close to 200 locations all over the country. The original concept was to open up cookie bakeries close to university campuses. This way college students could enjoy fresh cookies past the typical closing time of a bakery. The brand also does delivery to students who wouldn’t have a way of leaving the dorms otherwise.

According to QSR Magazine, Insomnia Cookies is introducing a variety of ice cream-inspired cookies to their menu. β€œSummer is here, and many would agree that ice cream is the official dessert of warmer weather so it made sense for Insomnia to do what we do best and blend favorite ice cream flavors into our crave-worthy cookies,” said Tom Carusona, chief marketing officer of Insomnia Cookies.

The seasonal flavors will be available all of June. The flavors are Rocky Road, Cookies’ N’ Cream, Orange Creamsicle, Rocky Road Monster’wich, Orange Creamsicle Cookie’wich, and a Vegan Cookies’ N’ Cream.
