President Donald Trump Says Kamala Harris 'Will Never Be President'

At his Labor Day conference, President Donald Trump took swipes at Joe Biden’s running mate Kamala Harris. He also called out his predecessor Barrack Obama.

“She will never be president. Although I have to be careful, because Obama used to say that about me,” Trump said. “So I have to be a little bit careful.”

Donald Trump and Kamala Harris argued over the coronavirus vaccine.

Over Labor Day weekend, Trump and Harris argued over the current state of the coronavirus vaccine. Trump used the conference on Monday to call out Harris for remarks she made about him on CNN. Harris said she didn’t trust the president regarding the vaccine. She’d defer to experts on the safety of a vaccine in 2020.

“I will say that I would not trust Donald Trump, and it would have to be a credible source of information that talks about the efficacy and the reliability of whatever he’s talking about,” Harris said.

She also added that Trump cared more about the upcoming election than expert opinion.

“If past is prologue that they will not. They’ll be muzzled, they’ll be suppressed, they will be sidelined because he’s looking at an election coming up in less than 60 days,” she said. “And he’s grasping for whatever he can get to pretend that he’s been a leader on this issue when he’s not.”

In the press conference, Trump insisted the vaccine would be ready in “record time.” He also said he wanted to help those who were sick get “better”. During the conference, Trump demanded Harris and Biden apologize.

“[They] should immediately apologize for the reckless anti-vaccine rhetoric that they are talking right now, talking about endangering lives,” Trump said. “It undermines science, and what happens is all of the sudden you’ll have this incredible vaccine and because of that fake rhetoric, it’s a political rhetoric … that’s all that is.”
