Actor Sam Elliott voiced an advertisement for Joe Biden’s presidential campaign that aired on Tuesday during Game 1 of the MLB’s World Series.

Elliott is famous for his roles in “The Big Lebowski” and “The Ranch.” Additionally, he’s the voice of the “Beef, it’s what’s for dinner” ads. This time around, he’s narrating a new commercial for the Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden.

The overall message of the 60-second ad titled “Go From There” was about unifying the country and working together toward common goals.

“There is only one America,” Elliott says in the ad. “No Democratic rivers, no Republican mountains. Just this great land and all that’s possible on it with a fresh start. Cures we can find, futures we can shape, work to reward, dignity to protect.”

With a piano version of the Star-Spangled Banner playing in the background, the video shows Biden interacting with voters on the campaign trail and scenes from around the country. The Academy Award-nominated actor never actually appears on-camera in the ad.

“There is so much we can do if we choose to take on problems and not each other, and choose a president who brings out our best,” Elliott says. “Joe Biden doesn’t need everyone in this country to always agree, just to agree we all love this country and go from there.”

Furthermore, Elliot isn’t the first celebrity to literally lend his voice to help Biden. Samuel L. Jackson also narrated an ad for the former vice president. That ad focused on fighting against voter suppression and was released earlier this month.

According to the Campaign Media Analysis Group, the ad was estimated at around $4 million. Biden’s campaign announced a record-breaking $383 million in September fundraising, allowing them to spend on some of the nation’s most expensive air time.

Sam Elliott Ad Draws Mixed Reactions on Twitter

It didn’t take long for Sam Elliot to trend on Twitter following the airing of the advertisement during the World Series. Naturally, some followers praised Elliott and his tranquil voice. Others, however, slammed the actor for jumping to the left.

Meanwhile, the ad didn’t resonate with everyone. Many people feel that Americans are better off now than they were four years ago and don’t want to see taxes go up.

Biden has been endorsed by a number of high-profile actors, including Jennifer Lopez and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. He’s also been endorsed by singer Taylor Swift.

Trump also has a list of celebrities in favor of his reelection. Some of them include 50 Cent, Kid Rock, Jon Voight, Roseanne Barr, Kirstie Alley, and Scott Baio.
