Last night, YouTube star Jake Paul took on former NBA player Nate Robinson in a fight that left stars like Steph Curry in disbelief.

Midway through the second round, Robinson caught a right hand from Paul that sent him face down to the floor. Leading up to the fight, Robinson hyped up the matchup on Twitter with a photo of him in a ring, while gloved up. He, however, had no prior boxing experience. Robinson relied mostly on his athletic ability and took to speed rushing Paul and mixed it with no defense whatsoever.

“Tonight I’m fighting for my brothers in the NBA, athletes across the world, and most importantly my children. #tysonjones #holdat

Paul, who is now two for two in fight wins by a knockout, has been training for this matchup for the better part of a year, ESPN reports. Paul hopes to continue his boxing career and make a profession out of the sport but says, for the time being, he is going to focus on his music.

Steph Curry and Other NBA Stars Respond

While Robinson called to honor his “brothers in the NBA,” many fellow players took to Twitter to comment on the fight. However Steph Curry and other players didn’t claim Robinson in return.

Jake Paul Gets Bold

The fight was destined from the start with three punches from Paul that sent Robinson to the ground. In addition, Paul landed eight hits in the two short rounds. Ultimately he ended the fight with an overhand right hand that shut off Robinson’s lights.

In addition, Paul reported fighting with a broken nose after a fall during meditation. After the fight, the 23-year-old winner told the Triller broadcast that “he was better than I expected.” He then gave Robinson props for fighting him in the first place.
