A gutsy Chick-fil-A employee recently revealed to TikTok users the process behind the making of the restaurant’s famous chicken nuggets.

The TikTok user @dxxdxx7 revealed the process to the world recently in a video posted to the popular social media app TikTok. The post has already racked up over 13 million views in a short time. Evidently, people are incredibly interested in how fast food comes to be.

The video starts off by displaying the raw chicken cut up in the form of nuggets. From there, the raw nuggets get dumped in a basket of liquid that @dxxdxx7 labels “milkwash.” They are then lathered up in some sort of seasoning undoubtedly kept secret by the popular food chain. Following that, they are put into a vat of oil and fried for a pre-determined amount of time.

Many people have come to assume the worst from fast-food joints. It’s a refreshing sight to see that Chick-fil-A actually cooks with real meat. Just that simple fact was being met with both shock and delight in the video’s comments.

“Honestly I was scared to watch this because these nuggets are life!!” one user admitted. “But I am so relieved they are actually made from scratch!”

Another person wrote, “Real chicken? Big flex.”

A number of other TikTok users called for McDonald’s to share its process for their McNuggets. They called out Mickey D’s for their distinctive nugget shapes, assuming that they can’t possibly be made from raw chicken in the same way that Chick-Fil-A’s are.

User dxxdxx7 said they would post more behind-the-scenes Chick-fil-A content in the future. “Follow me for more content like this!!” the account states. They already shared a few other looks inside of the kitchen including a video titled “how Chick-fil-A workers secretly make spicy nuggets!”
