Police Searching for Woman Seen Placing Feces in Trump Supporters’ Mailboxes

A woman allegedly put dog feces in Trump supporters' mailboxes.

A woman in Maine has been accused of sending dog feces in the mail to President Donald Trump supporters.

Police are currently on the lookout for the suspect, who was last spotted in the town of Hampden. They had been purposefully seeking out home with Trump signs on them.

The woman had been riding a bike through town, and had been wearing Crocs as well as a plain black face mask. Stories got around that she had been potentially contaminating mail as police were alerted earlier that week.

Though only three mailboxes had apparently been found with feces, it’s unclear how many the woman had gotten to. It’s also not clear how the offending material was spread.

“She has been picking up dog feces and putting it in mailboxes, specifically of people who have Trump signs outside,” said patrol officer Alyshia Canwell. “She also has been defacing Trump signs, writing comments on the signs.”

No charges have been filed as of yet. However, the police department has identified a minor involved in the incident. Apparently there is no motive just yet connected to the crime. However, it seems obvious that sending feces to Trump supporters is an act of aggression. It also sends a very clear message.

Dog feces in mailboxes is an insidious strategy

With the November election at hand, incidents like this one could very well continued to ramp up. It’s difficult to say who will emerge victorious, but tactics like these are obviously unacceptable for supporters of either candidate.

Though this individual has not been charged just yet, that certainly does not take away the ramifications of her actions. Luckily, there have not been similar situations shared with authorities as of late.
