Everyone has an off-game, even presidents. President Donald Trump pulled his best Happy Gilmore impression after a bad swing in a game of golf. A string of profanity followed the mistake.
When he wasn’t pardoning turkeys, Trump celebrated part of Thanksgiving on the green. His love for the game is well documented. Trump was playing a round when he found out Joe Biden took the election. Before dinner, the president played 18 rounds at the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia.
According to the Daily Mail, Trump had trouble on one of the courses in a moment that made him shout “Oh s–t.”
The president started by taking a few practice swings beforehand. But, the practice was pointless. Trump chipped the ball on the swing. Instead of landing on the green as Trump planned, the ball fell into the nearby pond instead.

Never one to mince words, Trump voiced his frustration, “I hate this f—ing hole.” Several of those nearby laughed in response. But Trump wasn’t in a laughing mood afterwards. Later, the outlet reported that Trump tossed his ball from his golf cart on another hole.
Donald Trump Criticized NFL Protests on Thanksgiving
Later, Trump voiced his frustrations for a sport of a different kind. The president criticized both the Houston Texans and Detroit Lions’ quarterbacks for kneeling during the national anthem. The two teams played each other on Thanksgiving. Both quarterbacks knelt to protest racial inequality in the country.
Trump wrote, “No Thanks.”

It was a move that Trump found to be unpatriotic. The president has been vocal about his criticism for the NFL and their protesting within the organization. Several teams have protested for social change this season after the death of George Floyd.
