Country music star Tim McGraw has plenty to be thankful for as we draw closer to the “1883” premiere set for next month.
“Yellowstone” fans are beyond excited for the debut of the “Yellowstone” spinoff “1883” which will begin its first season on December 19. Tim Mcgraw and his wife, fellow country music star Faith Hill, will play the lead roles in the prequel. The music industry power couple will pay James and Margaret Dutton on the show. James and Margaret are the ancestors of John Dutton, played by Kevin Costner. John Dutton is the current owner of the “Yellowstone” Ranch that has been in his family for more than a century. He has every intention of keeping it that way as well, despite the efforts of many who like to claim the property as their own. “Yellowstone” is currently four episodes into its fourth season and fans are raving about the new season.
The “1883” star took time to wish fans a happy Thanksgiving on Thursday via social media. Both McGraw and his wife have often spoken about the importance of family. They have three daughters who are just starting their careers and their proud parents have been more than supportive. In his social media post, the “Don’t Take the Girl” singer says life is about who you spend it with.
“Life’s best moments are all about the ones you share it with,” the “1883” star says. “Everything else is just gravy. Happy Thanksgiving!”
Numerous country music fans were eager to return the favor, wishing Tim McGraw and his family a lovely Thanksgiving Day.
“I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving too!” a fan writes in the comments. “Can’t wait for 1883.”
‘1883’ Premiere is Less Than a Month Away
Tim McGraw has been teasing his appearance on “1883” on social media since he was cast in the lead role.
“The story of the Duttons begins here,” he says in a recent social media post and “1883” preview. “Taylor Sheridan’s ‘1883’ premieres on December 19 on Paramount Plus.”
“1883” will tell the story of how the Dutton Family came to settle in Montana in the titular year. We also likely learn the beginning of the “Yellowstone” Ranch and how it grew into one of the country’s biggest cattle ranches. In addition to Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, “1883” will feature a slew of big-time names. Western favorite Sam Eliott and Billy Bob Thornton will be playing key roles in the series.
We got our first extended look at McGraw as James Dutton in a previous episode flashback. “Yellowstone” fans hope there is more of that to come.
