Giants QB Jake Fromm Wears ‘Yellowstone Dutton Ranch’ Hat in Press Conference

by Quentin Blount

Who would have thought that the quarterback for the New York Giants would be a fan of the hit Paramount Network show Yellowstone?

Jake Fromm officially made his NFL debut on Sunday afternoon for the New York Giants. The outing didn’t quite go as planned, as the Giants wound up losing to their NFC East rivals, the Dallas Cowboys, by a score of 21-6.

Although Mike Glennon technically started the game for the Giants, he struggled mightily. He completed 13 of 24 passes for 99 yards and threw three interceptions. It was Jake Fromm who came in during the fourth quarter and was the more impressive of the two. He was able to complete six of his 12 passes for 82 yards. With New York’s starting quarterback, Daniel Jones, out for the foreseeable future, we may get to see more of Fromm in the team’s last few games.

However, it wasn’t so much Fromm’s play on the field that has everyone talking after the game. It was what he wore to the post-game press conference. Fromm went up to the podium rocking a navy and white plaid shirt, a vest, and a Yellowstone Dutton Ranch hat.

Zack Rosenblatt, a New York Giants beat writer for NJ Advance Media, tweeted a picture of Fromm talking with reporters.

As exciting as Fromm was in his first NFL action, there’s no doubt that his choice of attire was even more impressive. NFL fans on Twitter seem to agree that it was pretty sweet to see Fromm rocking a Yellowstone hat.

“Jake Fromm knows a good TV show…Yellowstone!” one fan said.

Another fan quoted the tweet with the caption, “Yellowstone fan? QB1.”

And finally, a third fan replied saying, “Jake sporting a Dutton Ranch hat in a post game presser. Love it.”

Sundays Are for Jake Fromm and ‘Yellowstone’

That’s right — as long as Jake Fromm is getting playing time, he will have a whole new group of fans watching him play on Sundays. After all, Yellowstone fans have to wait until 8 p.m. ET on Sundays to watch the newest episode of their favorite show.

As for Fromm, we will have to wait and see if the Giants decide they want to take a closer look at him. Should they name him the starter for next Sunday, Fromm will have a tough matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. That game will take place at 1 p.m. ET.

And later that same night is when fans can expect to watch the newest episode of Yellowstone. Season 4, Episode 9 will debut on Sunday, December 26 at 8 p.m. ET on Paramount Network and CMT. And the cherry on top? A new episode of 1883, the Yellowstone spin-off, will take place directly after.
