Kevin Costner on ‘Yellowstone’ Season 4 Finale: ‘Hope You’re Ready’

It still feels like Yellowstone just returned, but Season 4’s finale is upon us, and Kevin Costner is making sure fans are ready.

“#YellowstoneTV season finale tonight. I hope you’re ready for this one,” Costner offers to fans just hours before Season 4’s final episode. Within, the icon includes another brilliant shot of himself in character as John Dutton. And if this steely gaze doesn’t prepare you for tonight’s insane finale, we don’t know what will:

“Like a fine wine, better with age!” Yellowstone fan Aimee comments on Costner’s official Instagram. We can’t argue with that, either.

The top comment, however, belongs to Emerson Miller, who sharp Yellowstone fans will know as the show’s phenomenal photographer. Miller is responsible for some of the most captivating shots in Hollywood (including the iconic headshot of Kevin Costner as John Dutton above) and his work elevates Yellowstone to almost mythical proportions. Emerson Miller Elevates ‘Yellowstone’ with Ethereal Photography

“New portrait of Luke Grimes,” Miller begins of this absolutely stunning portrait of the Kayce Dutton actor above. “Yellowstone has been a life-changing job not only for me but for hundreds of us. From actors to members of the crew that works so hard to make this as beautiful as you see on TV,” he continues on his official Instagram.

“Working on this show has made me realize how raw I see art and emotion, not only in photographs but in general. When I take a picture I want it to resonate not only with me and my subject but with people I’ve never met,” Miller says of his work on the blockbuster franchise, which includes prequel 1883.

Through his art, Miller says he’s learned “how to be confident at my craft and do it with love. And for that I thank the writer and director of the show, Taylor Sheridan.”

Taylor Sheridan ‘Took a Chance’ on Emerson Miller

Through their remarkable relationship, Yellowstone photographer Emerson Miller has gone on to become the official photographer for all of Sheridan’s creations, including Jeremy Renner-starring Mayor of Kingstown and his Angelia Jolie-led film Those Who Wish Me Dead.

“At the beginning, you and [Sheridan’s wife, Nicole] were the only people that believed in me and knew what I was capable to deliver. You gave me a home when I had nowhere to go, you gave me a shoulder when I needed to cry, you gave me power when I needed to built up and more than anything, you make me feel like family,” Miller adds of his relationship with the Sheridans.

“If you have anyone you love, make sure to let them know how much you appreciate them for supporting you, sometimes they don’t know how much their support gives you strength to keep on moving.”

True words. Here’s to many more seasons of Yellowstone art through Taylor Sheridan and Emerson Miller.
