“Yellowstone’s” Forrie J. Smith Says Role is ‘Jucier’ Than Ever

Yet, the “Yellowstone” actor says his best role yet is as Rip’s second-in-command as Lloyd. Recently, Smith opened up about the role and what it means to work on a series like Taylor Sheridan’s “Yellowstone.”

“Yea, it’s great for me. I’ve been in the business for 37 years, and this is the juiciest part I’ve ever had. And I get to show – thank you, Taylor Sheridan – I get to show my ability as an actor. The responses I’m getting from people walking down the street… I mean I can’t go anywhere anymore,” the Yellowstone actor shared.

He also went on to add:

“All the love from everybody is just kind of almost overwhelming,” Smith continued. “I believe in God, and I ask him to keep helping me put my foot in the right spot, and I keep putting one foot in front of the other. Like here tonight, I’m out of my realm. He’s guiding my words, and I just rely on that a lot, because it is overwhelming. It’s wild.”

The “Yellowstone” season four finale will air on Sunday in a two hour special. Fans of the show have been speculating as to the twists and turns yet to come. the season was highly anticipated after the first three seasons were released on Peacock. Fans waited over a year for the latest season – which seems to have gone by all too quickly.

Luke Grimes Says People Love Show for ‘Idea of West’

Further, the show’s success is a testament to the incredible story being delivered by Sheridan. And actor Luke Grimes agrees with this.

“The romantic idea of the west is a part of the reason that people love this show so much,” he says. “Being able to escape, you know, and just sit in their living rooms and go to this place is one of the most important parts of our show. It’s what Yellowstone is about — sort of fighting for that romantic of what that could be. The Yellowstone Ranch is at the crux of everything in the show. The beauty of the west is at the core of everything we do.”
