What’s in the name, Outsiders? Well, we’d like to know with an upcoming Yellowstone episode titled “Under a Blanket of Red.”

We can get a little insight from Celebrating The Soaps. The short, quick answer is we don’t know for sure what that title means. Still, it’s worth taking a deep dive into it and trying to put pieces together.

Alright, so when Season 3 ended, the Dutton family was under attack. Serious attack. With a title like “Under a Blanket of Red,” it would be easy to think that bloodshed was coming to Yellowstone.

There is someone in the Yellowstone universe that wanted John Dutton, played by Kevin Costner; his daughter Beth, played by Kelly Reilly; and Kayce Dutton, played by Luke Grimes, dead. Now Jamie Dutton, played by Wes Bentley, didn’t get a scratch.

‘Yellowstone’ Fans Are Eeyballing Jamie Dutton as Possibly Behind Massive Attacks

Fans have put him as suspect No. 1 in the attacks. Why? Well, Jamie found out that he’d been adopted. The kill-them-all strategy on Yellowstone didn’t work. The Duttons have their heads on a swivel, looking over their shoulders to make sure another attack doesn’t happen.

After John was shot, you might recall an explosion rocked Beth’s office.

All of those issues are still on the table as Yellowstone returns for a new episode. Catch it this Sunday at 8 p.m. Eastern, 7 p.m. Central, on the Paramount Network.

Now, would you like a little info ahead of Sunday night’s episode?

OK, but we’re going to have to put a Spoiler Alert flashing sign right here. So, you have been warned.

Here’s the synopsis for your reading pleasure: John and Kayce are forced to deal with some newcomers in town. Lloyd is in the doghouse with Rip, and finds purpose in teaching Carter. Jamie seeks information about his father.

Last Week’s Lloyd-Walker Fist Fight Gets A Little Insight From Forrie J. Smith

If you happened to see last Sunday’s episode, then you know Lloyd and Walker traded fists.

Yellowstone star Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, chatted with Brinkwire and talked about what happened leading up to the fight scene with Walker, played by Ryan Bingham.

Smith said he had to “imagine something else” for the scene.

The Lloyd actor said he really had “no anger towards Ryan Bingham. I love the guy, and there were times when I had to imagine him as someone else to be able to put that anger towards him.”

In that episode, we saw Rip come into the bunkhouse and smash his fist into Lloyd’s face. Rip, played by Cole Hauser, has a rule. If anyone at the bunkhouse is going to fight, then they have to get through Rip first.
