Yellowstone Season 4 is officially wrapped up, and fans with a Peacock subscription are still waiting to stream it. Here’s when you’ll be able to do so.

If you’re all caught up on Yellowstone, chances are you have cable or a cable subscription. This has been, by far, the easiest and most guaranteed way to watch each episode of Season 4 live as it aired on Sundays. Season 4 was/is also available to purchase on Amazon Prime, but the episodes did not air live as they did on Paramount Network.

The only service streaming Yellowstone, however, is still NBC’s Peacock. A Peacock Premium membership allows for unlimited viewing of seasons 1-3. But Yellowstone Season 4 is still nowhere to be found on Peacock. Thankfully, that is set to change.

Here’s When ‘Yellowstone’ Season 4 Will Likely Be Streaming on Peacock

Following Yellowstone Season 4’s finale, ViacomCBS confirms that the most recent season is coming to Peacock. This is due to the show’s running deal with NBC for streaming rights. It’s also why ViacomCBS’s own streaming service, Paramount Plus, has zero Yellowstone episodes available.

So when will fans with Peacock subscriptions be able to stream Yellowstone Season 4? According to ViacomCBS, it’ll be a few months.

Looking at previous Peacock releases for Yellowstone helps narrow down the date. Yellowstone Season 3’s finale hit August 23, 2020. It wasn’t until November 22, 2020 that all 10 episodes of Season 3 were available to stream on Peacock.

With this same gap, Yellowstone Season 4 should hit Peacock in March 2022 at the earliest.

In the meantime, the only ways to watch Season 4 remain as a cable subscription or purchasing via Amazon Prime. There’s a menagerie of ways to watch with traditional/online cable, though, which Outsider covers extensively here.

The Countdown Begins for ‘Yellowstone’ Season 5

Once you’re ready with one of the methods above, it’s time to start the countdown to Season 5. Cable’s #1 show had an unusually long hiatus due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, but Season 5 is expected to be here within a year as per previous waits.

So don’t fret: Yellowstone will 100% return for a Season 5. The runaway success of Season 4 guarantees this. Taylor Sheridan’s extensive deal with ViacomCBS also makes it a sure bet.

Yellowstone has yet to see official renewal for Season 5, however. Meanwhile, the show’s successful prequel, 1883, is currently returning to film according to star LaMonica Garrett.

And while it may not be as solid as a studio confirmation, Rip Wheeler’s Cole Hauser confirms that Taylor Sheridan is already hard at work on Yellowstone Season 5.
