With just two episodes left to go in Season 4, Yellowstone is really ratcheting up the suspense.

The official Yellowstone Twitter account has dropped a new teaser for the show, and in it, we see a quick recap of the most recent episode’s key events.

We see Jamie (Wes Bentley) and his biological father (Will Patton) scheming about how to take on John Dutton (Kevin Costner). We see Jimmy (Jefferson White) and Emily (Kathryn Kelly) going on a date in Texas. Then there’s Kayce (Luke Grimes) confronting a wolf. And Summer Higgins (Piper Perabo) scheming with Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) on how to confront Market Equities. Finally, we see Rip (Cole Hauser) and John going into a diner where a hostage situation is going down.

Yellowstone Teaser Has Fans Lighting Up Twitter

Meanwhile, the new teaser has fans lighting up Twitter. As the fans pointed out, Season 4 has flown by way too fast, and if the past is any precedent, they will have a long wait until Season 5 premieres.

“10 episodes is not nearly enough… Ughhhh,” one fan tweeted. “Feels like this season just started…,” another fan chimed in.

One detail many fans have noticed this season is not just the episodes themselves, but also the commercials during the show. There have been a number of commercials for the prequel series, 1883, which premiered last week.

And also, many fans are pointing out how Season 4 has spent a good amount of time drumming up excitement for an entirely separate spinoff show called 6666, which will star White and Walker actor Ryan Bingham. However, the general sentiment with all fans is: we are not ready for Season 4 to be over.

Season 4 Has Been Full of Surprises, But Fans Want to See a Wedding

Season 4 has been action-packed and full of surprises. Jamie confronted his father only to cave and embrace the would-be repeat murderer once again when Randall explained his logic for trying to kill the Duttons. Beth accepted Market Equities’ offer, only to turn around and coach the protesters, led by Summer, on how to make their protests go national.

Kayce finally bought a house off the Dutton ranch where his family can enjoy a little space (plus a dog). And John invited Rip and Beth to live with him in the main house, where they’ve finally, after much difficulty, managed to carve out some precious family time.

We’ve also seen Jimmy embark on a journey to the Four Sixes Ranch, where he’s building a new life for himself. And the way things are going for him there, it’s unlikely he’ll ever want to return to the Dutton Ranch.

That’s all very well and good, as far as audiences are concerned, but Yellowstone fans really want to see a wedding for Beth and Rip. Is it in the cards for Season 4? The couple seems awfully busy to be doing any wedding planning right now, but who knows? One thing’s for sure: fans will be at the edge of their seats right up through the season finale.

Curious? Tune in to the Paramount Network Sundays at 8 p.m. ET to find out what happens.
