Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan was recently spotted in a social media post by his wife, Nicole Muirbrook.

Now, Muirbrook is no stranger to posting regular updates to her official Instagram story. In fact, the model and actress often posts pictures of she and her husband together. And on Friday night, she did that yet again by posting an adorable snap of them cuddled up to one another.

In the picture, Muirbrook can be seen with her arms and legs wrapped around her husband while she gives him a kiss on the side of his head. She is rocking a pair of cowboy boots, which fits the scenery as the photo of the two came with a stack of hay bales in the background. And going by the looks of Sheridan, it seems like he was in pure bliss.

What made the photograph even better, however, was that there was a classic Merle Haggard hit playing. And for fans that didn’t catch the post for themselves, that song was “That’s the Way Love Goes.”

Haggard released the song back in November of 1983. It was the title and second track from his album, That’s the Way Love Goes. Incredibly, Merle Haggard’s version of the song turned out to be his 38th number-one hit. Oh, and did we mention that it spent 21 weeks on the charts and won him that year’s Grammy Award for Best Country Vocal Performance? Not a bad song for the Yellowstone creator and his wife to embrace and listen to.

‘Yellowstone’ Creator Inducted into Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame

There is no such thing as getting too much of Taylor Sheridan and his beautiful wife Nicole Muirbrook. So when the Yellowstone creator was officially inducted into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame back in March, his wife was absolutely loving it.

Muirbrook took to social media once again to share a photo of Sheridan giving his acceptance speech.

“So 👏🏼 proud 👏🏼 of 👏🏼 you 😭 What a special night ❤️,” Muirbrook wrote alongside the photo. “#loveyou #congratulations #anighttoremember @txcowboyhof”

Nowadays the Cranfills Gap, Texas native is a big-time screenwriter and director. But he has always been a true cowboy in spirit. In addition to his creation of Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan is also responsible for creating other western films. Those include titles such as Wind River, and Hell or High Water. With all that said, there is no doubt that his spot in the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame is well-deserved.
