“Yellowstone” character Rip Wheeler had a little sage advice for Labor Day Weekend Marathon fans with a bit of head nod.
Translation: That menacing ranch foreman dressed in black means you best not stop.
The animated gif was a nice little touch from the show’s Twitter account late in the afternoon on Sunday.
Many lady “Yellowstone” fans took time to comment on the 6-foot-1 star’s look.
Some begged for new episodes to see more of Rip. Some shared their Rip love. One fan called him a stud while another fake Rip Wheeler Twitter account responded, “blushing.”
Fellow ‘Yellowstone’ Actors Intimidated By Rip
Recently, a few fellow actors shared they were a little scared of the 49-year-old Hauser and his character.
Jefferson White, who plays ranch hand Jimmy Hurdstrom, said in a recent episode of “Stories From the Bunkhouse,” he was taken aback by Hauser’s scene presence.
White shared a between-the-scenes story.
“Cole goes, ‘Hey Jeff, come here, get here,’” White recalls. “I go over there and he grabs me by the back of the neck, and he pulls me in. I’m like, ‘oh f***, what is it, what did I do? Is he… what’s gonna happen?’”
Fellow castmembers Denim Richards (Colby) and Ian Bohen (Ryan) laughed it up, but soon both of them admitted as much. Hauser’s intimidating presence is powerful when he gets into character.
‘Yellowstone’ Actor Shocks Fans With Picture
A Taste of Country reported that Hauser recently shared a throwback picture that caught some eyes.
In celebration of superstar actor Ben Affleck, Hauser posted a black-and-white photo of him with Affleck and actor bro Matt Damon from the 1997 movie “Good Will Hunting.”
Hauser played Billy McBride in the Academy Award-winning film. From there, the actor was able to land roles in “Pitch Black,” “Tigerland,” “Hart’s War,” and “2 Fast 2 Furious.”
Hauser also teamed up with Affleck and Damon for “School Ties” and then Affleck one more time in “Dazed and Confused.” Matthew McConaughey also starred in that 1993 movie.
Actor’s Little Red Secret
In the throwback photo, you’d never know Hauser was a redhead. You wouldn’t know it from “Yellowstone” either because his character calls for the jet black-hair look. It’s part of his preparation for the role.
Much of it has to do with his hot-and-cold romance with Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) for the show. Hauser told Jenny McCarthy that the couple’s real-life red hair made for a challenge.
“When I first got the role, as you know, Kelly’s a ginger, and I’m ginger as well. So we looked like we were brother and sister,” Hauser said. “So we kind of had to make sure that wouldn’t be the case.”
