Bad news for “Yellowstone” fans without cable. Peacock just confirmed they won’t carry the new Season 4 episodes until 2022.

The official “Yellowstone” Twitter account posted a video earlier today to announce that it’s premiere week for the new season. The two-hour premiere airs on Sunday, Nov. 7, on the Paramount Network cable channel. But many fans in the comments of the new post asked whether they’ll be able to watch the new episodes on Peacock or Paramount Plus.

A verified Twitter account called PeacockTVCare directly responded to one fan’s question in the comments.

“Hi! Thank you for reaching out. While the episodes will not be available on Peacock until the conclusion of the current season, we look forward to the new season being available next year. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months!” the account wrote.

Meaning, “Yellowstone” fans without cable won’t be able to keep up with the new season each week. They’ll have to explore other options to be able to watch the episodes as they air instead of waiting for the season to wrap up.

We already know that Season 4 has 10 episodes, and if only one airs each week, that puts the Season 4 finale on January 9, 2022. Meaning the absolute earliest Peacock subscribers could watch the full season would be mid-to-late January 2022.

Where Else Could Cable-Cutters Watch ‘Yellowstone’ Season 4?

For fans who can’t wait that long, there are a few other options. Certain streaming services offer “Live TV” packages for about $65 a month, including Hulu and fuboTV. Amazon Prime also offers individual episodes that you can buy, but it’s unclear if they’ll be available for purchase during the new season. Fans might once again have to wait until after the new season wraps to buy the individual episodes.

Paramount also hasn’t cleared up if they’ll stream the new episodes week by week on their own streaming service, Paramount Plus. That would make the most sense, except it sounds like Peacock still has licensing rights to the show. They snatched up those rights to the first three seasons of “Yellowstone,” at least, right after Season 3 aired in 2020. With Paramount’s streaming service just debuting this year, it’s unclear if and/or when “Yellowstone” will hop over to Paramount Plus.

The only thing we do know is that you can for sure watch “Yellowstone” on the Paramount Network cable channel. This might be the time to buddy up to that friend of yours who has cable and ask them to record the new episodes for you. If they don’t already watch the incredible show, you can bring them into the fold with this week’s marathon, just in time for Season 4.
