TEE-TER. Arguably no “Yellowstone” character left a more memorable first impression than Jen Landon’s “Teeter.” And most notably, her character’s thick Texarkana accent. However, some fans of the Paramount series feel like she might’ve dropped some of that unique twang in her voice this season.

In a new Reddit thread, “Yellowstone” fans offered their thoughts on Teeter’s accent. The discussion opened with the initial question: “Is it just me or has Teeter lost her unique accent this season?”

In short, fans say yes…but there’s more to it. Cause some folks felt that her accent last season didn’t necessarily resemble that of a true Texarkana rancher.

“I will say – if Teeter’s accent is ‘Texan’, I’ll eat my hat. She’d have to be from the deep woods in the middle of f–king nowhere and/or half illiterate to sound like she does,” one user writes, who claims to be a “native Texan.”

‘Yellowstone’ Season 4: Was There a Reason Behind Teeter’s Accent Change?

Another fan agreed that her accent seemed “toned down.” But that might’ve been an intentional choice. Albeit a “mistake” according to this watcher.

“I think they wanted the audience to actually understand teeter so they toned down the accent,” the user writes. “Which was a huge f–king mistake. They should have left her talking like a hillbilly swedish chef forever. Her first scene at the cowboy tryout was one of my favorite of the entire series. Teeter was never meant to be understood, only appreciated.”

Many folks may not realize, but Jen Landon is actually the daughter of TV royalty. Her Dad is Michael Landon. Yes, that one. Ameria’s favorite TV Dad who famously starred in “Bonanza,” “Little House on the Prairie,” and more. In fact, one “Yellowstone” fan recalled this detail and said that Jen is clearly playing up the accent considering she grew up in California.

“Teeter’s character is played by Michael Landon’s daughter, grew up in Malibu so not sure what accent she uses but it’s probably a lot of fun for her as an actress,” the fan writes.

Teeter’s ‘Sum B*tch’ Soup

If you’re fully caught up on “Yellowstone” season 4, you likely remember Teeter’s unforgettable scene from last Sunday’s episode. She cooked up a steaming hot pot of “sum b*tch” soup for the bunkhouse boys, and it uhhh…didn’t go over well.

After the episode aired, three of the bunkhouse ranch hand actors spoke out about that scene in particular. Denim Richards, Ian Bohen, and Jefferson White all revealed whether they’d give “sum b*tch” soup a try. Check out what they had to say here.
