New “Yellowstone” star Piper Perabo enlightens viewers about her new character’s “work” in Montana in a new Twitter clip.

The 44-year-old Perabo plays Summer Higgins, an animal rights activist “from Portland who is against the state-funded police force that protects industrialized farming and the killing of animals.”

She says her character is a quick learner who has ambitious plans of her own.

She talks about becoming interested in protesting the proposed airport, meaning she could become an asset to the Dutton family. Or maybe not? Maybe all the animal protesting could lead to a short season for Higgins. We’ll have to tune in.

She already knows a little about the show.

“When John Dutton [Kevin Costner] or Rip want to get rid of people, they talk about taking them to the train station,” Perabo told Entertainment Weekly. “I don’t want to be taken to the train station!”

Past Work For ‘Yellowstone’ Actress

Perabo, who broke out in the 2000 movie “Coyote Ugly,” has played in “The Prestige” and “Cheaper By The Dozen.” She earned a Golden Globe nomination for her 2011 role on the USA Network’s “Covert Affairs.” The nod was for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama.

The actress said the upcoming season will be exciting because “it’s going to be badass.”

Perabo joins new cast members Jacki Weaver, Kathryn Kell, and Finn Little for this upcoming season

Additionally, season 4 starts up on Nov. 7 on the streaming service Paramount+ Network.

New Airport, Skiing in Yellowstone?

Here we are in Season 4, and they’re getting a new airport?

In the Perabo clip, we see plans for both an airport and a ski resort. Then we see a few seconds of construction crews working.

Man, Yellowstone’s going to have an interstate and 10 Starbucks by the end of Season 5. Just kidding.

New ‘Yellowstone’ Star Has a Family Connection

Perabo married “Yellowstone” director and writer Stephen Kay in 2014.

Kay has directed eight show episodes before the upcoming season. He’s also had a hand in a few “Mayor of Kingstown” episodes. “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan and actor/producer Hugh Dillion are also working on that show.
