Hauser speaks, of course, of Yellowstone mastermind Taylor Sheridan. Sheridan’s work in Modern Westerns is unparalleled, and nothing exemplifies this more than the wild success of Yellowstone.
To this end, Hauser says that “As soon as you think you know what’s going on, he’ll flip it,” the fan-favorite actor adds with a grin. Sounds like some major plot twists are in store come fall 2021. We expect no less!
“There’s a lot of new faces and some great fight scenes,” she adds. “Punches will be thrown this season!”
Is Cole Hauser Teasing Big Rip Wheeler Twist for ‘Yellowstone’ Season 4?
But could the Rip Wheeler actor be teasing a far more personal twist for his character? Fans seem to think so after re-watching the Season 4 trailer, with one believing an “impostor” Rip awaits us in Yellowstone Season 4.
Yellowstone‘s Labor Day Marathon rages on, and one possibly sharp fan is analyzing the Season 4 trailer alongside. With intricate details, this fan believes the Rip Wheeler we see in one crucial snipped of the trailer isn’t Cole Hauser at all. Could an “impostor” be looking to frame Rip as an assassin in Season 4?
“The beard is too dark, too full, and the edges are way too defined,” the fan says of the Rip we see in the trailer. “If you look at his cheek area, the lines from the nose on the “impostor” are different than on who we know for sure is Rip,” she continues.
Noting Cole Hauser’s facial hair, the Yellowstone die-hard adds that “Rip’s lines go down towards his mouth, the impostor’s is curved around the cheek bone. I think it’s someone who is meant to look like Rip, so he is blamed for something.”
It’s certainly a possibility, and one that’s been overlooked in the latest gripping Yellowstone trailer. There, we see Rip moving in for the kill at the 1-minute mark. Here, a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it clip features John Dutton’s right-hand man pointing his firearm directly at… Someone. But is it actually the Rip Wheeler? Outsider analyzes the clues in-depth right here, so be sure to check it out after the jump.
