The wait is finally coming to an end. The season 4 trailer of Yellowstone has officially arrived, with star Brecken Merrill reacting to the sneak peek of the upcoming season. Merrill is a 12-year-old actor who plays Tate Dutton on the show. Just like many of the Yellowstone cast, his acting has been incredibly impressive. Now, fans will see him on their screens once more.

“Revenge is worth the wait,” he wrote. “Yellowstone returns Nov 7th on Paramount Network.” After over a year of no Yellowstone, fans are thrilled with the news. You can watch the trailer below.

“Omg…cant wait. I’m having Yellowstone withdrawals,” one fan commented. “Thanks for posting Brecken.”

When Yellowstone comes back, two episodes will premiere. The episodes will then be followed by weekly episodes on Saturday Nights.

The teaser gives fans a glimpse of John Dutton after he got gunned down. The ominous tailor also shows vultures circling overhead. The trailer is mostly just music, except for an eerie voice saying “We’re at war, you and me.” Chilling.

The 4th season will finally pick up on the cliffhanger-filled season 3 finale that has left fans itching for a fourth season for months. Usually, Yellowstone seasons air in the summer, but this time, it’s coming a bit late.

‘Yellowstone’ is Growing into a Franchise

With massive popularity already and a new spinoff series, 1883, and Mayor of Kingstown in the works, Yellowstone is on its way to becoming an even bigger phenomenon than it already is. Higher-ups with Paramount have kept it no secret that they have big plans in store for the show and its spinoffs.

“Our strategy is to make ‘Yellowstone,’ the massive # 1 hit with more than 10 million fans, into a global hit franchise under the incredible creative vision of Taylor Sheridan’s world-building storytelling,” MTV Entertainment President and CEO Chris McCarthy told Deadline.

“These new series will debut on Paramount+ and have special premiere day sneak episodes behind ‘Yellowstone,’” McCarthy explained. “Introducing this huge audience to these new stories, allowing us to leverage our linear platforms to fuel the growth of Paramount+ which will stream each series exclusively after episode two.”

1883 will follow an early generation of the Duttons as they head west to start a new life. It’ll star Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, and Sam Elliot and air on November 14th. Mayor of Kingstown is a contemporary drama set in Michigan that takes place in the same world that Yellowstone does. Jeremy Renner will lead and the series will air on December 19th.

With three shows on the way and fans buzzing with excitement, Taylor Sheridan and the rest of the crew behind Yellowstone seem poised to grow the show into something huge. As Brecken Merrill mentioned on Instagram, the series will return on November 7th this year on the Paramount Network.
