One of the more underrated aspects of the hit Paramount Network series “Yellowstone” is the gorgeous Montana backdrop.

The rolling hills and mountain of Montana set the stage for “Yellowstone” and it’s easy to fall in love with. That is exactly what a few of the show’s cast members have done while filming in the beautiful state. Numerous “Yellowstone” actors have spoken up on what it’s like to film a show in the Montana mountains. Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler), Forrie J. Smith (Lloyd) and newcomer Finn Little (Carter) are among the cast bragging on the beauty surrounding their filming location. Some have even mentioned they would love to spend even more time in Montana. Of course, the Treasure State provides some of the best outdoor recreation and tourism in the country. It certainly lives up to the “Big Sky” moniker with thousands of people visiting the state each year for recreation adventure.

Brecken Merrill (Tate Dutton) is the latest “Yellowstone” star to hare his love for the show’s Montana filming location. Merrill, the youngest of the show’s tremendous cast at 13, took to social media on Monday to share a photo with his fans.

“A much better view than under the bed,” Merrill says referring to Tate’s current state. “Save room in your Sunday for another new Yellowstone on the Paramount Network.”

Just look at those stunning rolling hills underneath the overcast sky. If it makes you want to pack up and head to Montana for a long weekend — you are not alone. Merrill also notes that we will get our next new episode of “Yellowstone” this Sunday after turkey day has come to pass.

‘Yellowstone’ Season Four is off to a Rough Start for Tate Dutton

As Merrill mentions in his social media post, Tate has spent most of the fourth season underneath the bed.

You really can’t blame the poor little guy as he’s just been through the most traumatic event of his young life. He’s not had an easy go of it so far, to say the least.

The first we see of Tate in the new season of “Yellowstone,” he and his mother are fleeing from attackers. He is forced to shoot and kill one of them and it’s obviously had a horrendous impact on him.

After the first episode incident, the next time we see Tate, he has taken up residence under a bed. He’s very clearly mortified at the ordeal. His father, Kayce Dutton, drags him out from under the bed much to his dismay.

Now, the young family is heading back to the Native American reservation where they will try to recoup.

Hopefully, we will see this storyline get a happy ending as season four rolls along.
