“Yellowstone” star Cole Hauser is a family man. And his kids really take after him, especially his eldest, Ryland, as anyone can see from a sweet new black-and-white photo of his kids gathered for Ryland’s birthday dinner.
Hauser’s wife, Cynthia, posted the photo to her Instagram account on Thursday.
“All my babies together. @colehauser22 #rylands17thbdaydinnner,” Cynthia captioned the photo.
Cole Hauser Has Stayed Active on Social Media
While Hauser is not quite as active on social media as his wife, he has kept up a steady drumbeat of posts tossing his work and family life together. They paint a picture of a fully engaged father and husband who also gives his all at work.
In one recent post, the “Yellowstone” star shared a black-and-white photo of himself laughing with Ryland when his son was just a little tyke. In another, he offered up a behind-the-scenes featurette about the making of “Yellowstone” Season 4. And on 9/11, Hauser posted a poignant meditation on the lives lost in the 2001 terrorist attacks.
All this while presumably filming Season 5 of “Yellowstone” and tending to his adorable brood. It’s a wonder Hauser finds time to promote Taylor Sheridan’s hit ensemble drama, but he’s also managed to squeeze that in.
‘Yellowstone’ Season 4: Rip Takes Revenge?
As “Yellowstone” fans no doubt recall, when Season 3 ended, the Duttons were in serious hot water. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) lay bloodied by the side of the road after a drive-by shooting. Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) had disappeared into the explosion that shook her office after her assistant opened a suspicious package. And Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes) was facing off against a pack of armed intruders at his office.
It fell to Rip Wheeler (Hauser), Dutton’s enforcer and right-hand man, to piece together what had happened. And amid a rash of ominous signs in the Season 3 finale, he had just begun to do that.
It remains to be seen what retribution Rip will rain down on those responsible for the attacks. He can be quite lethal when crossed. But first he’ll need to identify the culprit(s) – no easy task, given the enemies list the Duttons have acquired.
As Hauser joked in a Deadline interview, no one in Montana is safe after those attacks. Rip will be taking revenge. The only questions are how and on whom.
And “Yellowstone” fans can tune in Sunday, Nov. 7 to find out. The Season 3 finale set a new ratings record. So it will be interesting to see if Season 4 manages to top those already impressive numbers.
