Of the many rising stars on “Yellowstone,” Cole Hauser is cementing himself as a household name in Hollywood.
On “Yellowstone,” Hauser plays the rough and tumble cowboy Rip Wheeler to near perfection. A favorite among fans of the show, Rip heads up the ranch’s crew of capable cowboys. The bunkhouse crew looks up to Wheeler as he’s proven to be effective at overseeing their ranching responsibilities.
Rip’s true value to “Yellowstone” Ranch is his loyalty to the Dutton family and his willingness to do their dirty work. The big guy shows no hesitation when called up to do away with Dutton’s family enemies by any means necessary. He almost seems to enjoy getting his hands dirty when asked to do so. Big and burly, Rip is not someone you want to run into in a dark alleyway. Aside from throwing one against Kayce Dutton, Rip is undefeated in fistfights he’s participated in through three seasons.
His role as Rip Wheeler has put Hollywood on notice and now Cole Hauser is cashing in on his excellent work on the show. Hauser will star in a new film from George Gallo that will pair him with one of the biggest names in all of entertainment.
“Muti” will see Hauser join forces with Hollywood A-lister Morgan Freeman in a murder-mystery style film. It is a huge role of the “Yellowstone” star and he gets to work alongside a legend in Morgan Freeman. “Muti” is not the only new project that Hauser will be working on, but it is one of the biggest. George Gallo is most known for penning the scripts for “Bad Boys” and “Midnight Run.”
