No doubt about it, the family of “Yellowstone” star Cole Hauser boasts some pretty cute dogs. And in a new video posted by Hauser’s wife, actress and photographer Cynthia Hauser, you can watch them grooming each other on the Hausers’ sofa.
“Falling in love! @colehauser22,” Cynthia wrote on Instagram on Monday.
This is not the first time the Hausers have offered their followers a glimpse of their pups. Earlier this year, the “Yellowstone” star shared a picture of “Cota bear,” an adorable pup clad in a cowboy hat.
Hauser Portrays a Fan Favorite Character on ‘Yellowstone’
On “Yellowstone,” Hauser’s character, Rip Wheeler, has become a fan favorite. As John Dutton’s (Kevin Costner) enforcer, Rip can be quite lethal when crossed. But he also has a softer side that emerges as the series progresses.
Rip is a demanding role. Not only did it require Hauser, a redhead, to dye his hair dark – series co-creator Taylor Sheridan wanted to create a contrast with Hauser’s light-haired co-star Kelly Reilly – but it also required Hauser to be in excellent shape for all the activity that playing Rip entails.
“Horseback riding, as you know, at a very high level, is a hell of a workout for core and back and legs, and you name it,” Hauser said last year. “Riding and roping and cutting and doing the different disciplines that we do on the show, it’ll keep you in shape.”
“But that first, kind of, initial when you come back to work on the show, you’re sore for a week,” he added.
Still, all that effort on Hauser’s part has clearly paid off, as “Yellowstone” has become the No. 1 show on cable, with Rip increasingly one of its central characters.
Will Rip and Beth Get Married in Season 4?
When Season 3 of “Yellowstone” left off, Rip (Hauser) and Beth (Kelly Reilly) had just gotten engaged. But it looked like their happiness might be snatched away by an explosion that rocked Beth’s office after her assistant opened a suspicious package.
Both Hauser and Reilly have stayed mum on Beth’s fate in the intervening months. So “Yellowstone” fans didn’t know if the fan-favorite characters would have their wedding after all.
But now fans are pointing to a press release detailing four new characters the show will roll out in Season 4. Among them is Carter (Finn Little), “a young boy reminiscent of a young Rip.”
“Beth decides the ranch is the best place to teach him a lesson on how to be a man,” the press release reads, per Taste of Country.
That means Beth does survive the blast, if not her assistant. So will she and Hauser’s character finally get to walk down the aisle? Or will fate intervene once again to drive them apart?
There’s only one way to find out. Season 4 of “Yellowstone” launches on the Paramount Network Sunday, Nov. 7 with a two-hour premiere.
