“Yellowstone” fan favorite Cole Hauser is getting ready for the return of “Yellowstone” much the same way fans are.

On “Yellowstone,” Cole Hauser plays the rough and tumble cowboy Rip Wheeler. Through three seasons, of the modern western drama, Rip has become a champion among the show’s fan base. Fearless, brutal and extremely loyal, Rip personifies the cowboy culture we see during each “Yellowstone” episode. He’s a proven cowboy for sure, but Rip is also a proven badass and is not someone you want to be on the wrong side of. In addition to his duties on the ranch, Rip is also the enforcer for “Yellowstone” Ranch proprietor John Dutton. After John takes him in as an orphaned youth, Rip returns the favor by doing away with John’s enemies. Big, burly, and strong as an ox, Rip wins pretty much every fistfight he enters into. The lone exception is when he threw a fight against Kayce Dutton at John Dutton’s orders. He didn’t win the fight but displayed his tremendous loyalty to John.

Cole Hauser will transform back into Rip Wheeler before our eyes this Sunday. Until then, “Yellowstone” is riding us over with some nice promotional work, including a few recent social media posts. One of those social media posts features Hauser in an awesome photo. In the photo, Rip appears to be bathing in a water trough, much the same as Beth Dutton once did.

“Coming to get ya in 4 more days,” the post’s caption states. It doesn’t get much more badass than that. The big question on the minds of “Yellowstone” fans is just who is Rip going to get?

‘Yellowstone’ Will Debut New Season This Weekend

While we are all very excited that a new season of “Yellowstone” is almost here, there is still a ton of mystery around season four.

What will the new season have in store for Cole Hauser and Rip Wheeler?

We know from the recently released trailer that it appears Rip is the first to come upon John Dutton. The latter has just been shot several times in the chest and lies on the ground dying. Rip begs John to hang on for dear life long enough to find help. Will Rip be able to save his future father-in-law’s life before it’s too late? It’s a good bet that particular scene will lie heavy into season four storyline.

You would have a hard time finding a “Yellowstone” fan that doesn’t believe Rip will be on the warpath this season. His father figure, future bride and future brother-in-law have had attacks made on their lives? We’re sure Rip will have something to say about that before it’s all said and done.

We’ll find just which path Rip will take this Sunday.
