One of the many breakout stars of the hit television show “Yellowstone,” Cole Hauser is becoming a household name among the show’s fan base.

Hauser is a veteran actor with a laundry list of credits to his name even before taking on “Yellowstone.” He has shared the screen with numerous Hollywood stars like Matthew McConaughey, Vin Diesel and Kevin Costner.

The “Yellowstone” actor also had a starring role in the short-lived cop drama “Chase” in 2010. The show didn’t make it to the big time as it was canceled after the first season. Hauser played officer Jimmy Godfrey in the now-forgotten television show. In “Chase,” Hauser shared the screen with actress Kellie Giddish, who played the lead role of Annie Frost. Giddish is now starring in “Law and Order: SVU,” playing New York Police Detective Amanda Rollins.

Despite the failure of “Chase” it is safe to say that things worked out pretty well for both actors. Giddish has become a mainstay on “Law and Order: SUV” and the series has now completed 22 seasons, making it one of the longest-running television shows of all time. Giddish joined the cast in 2011 and has received much acclaim for her role on the show.

‘Yellowstone’ Takes Cole Hauser to New Heights

The same can said for Cole Hauser as his work on “Yellowstone” has made him into one of the brightest stars in Hollywood.

On the Paramount Network Series, Hauser plays rough and tough cowboy Rip Wheeler to near perfection. Rip serves as Yellowstone Ranch foreman and is a more than capable cowboy. He has a great work ethic and immense loyalty to John Dutton and the ranch. He is the leader of the Yellowstone bunkhouse crew and rules with an iron fist. While he isn’t afraid to dish out orders in an aggressive fashion, we have also seen that Rip treats others fairly.

It’s Rip’s role besides just being a Yellowstone Ranch hand that makes him one of the best characters on the show. He serves as an enforcer for John Dutton and his family. There are no lengths Rip won’t go to in order to protect the Duttons and the ranch. On more than a couple of occasions, we have seen Rip discard John’s enemies by killing them.

“Yellowstone” fans are curious as to what season four will bring for Rip and the ranch. His fate is likely tied to the fate of the Dutton family after the events of season three’s finale. It would shock no one to see Rip seek to avenge the attack on his adopted family. It’s what most “Yellowstone” fans want to see — along with a ranch wedding between Rip and Beth Dutton.
