Today’s the day, “Yellowstone” fans, when we find out how our favorite characters wrap up this fourth season of the hit Paramount Network show.
While this season might’ve run a bit slower in terms of action, all the “Yellowstone” stars have promised a jam-packed season finale. Including Cole Hauser, the star who plays Rip Wheeler on the show. Earlier today, Hauser posted a photo of a TV Guide magazine cover on Instagram. It featured him and Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth Dutton, Hauser’s love interest.
In his caption, Hauser promised one thing. “It all goes down tonight!” He also tagged Reilly, the official “Yellowstone” Instagram account, and the Paramount Network account. Hauser ended his caption with, “Enjoy!”
Oh, we certainly will. Hauser’s caption just confirmed that all the build-up we’ve seen this season might finally pay off in a big way. Could this be the episode where the Duttons finally confront their attacker?
We, the viewers, know that Garrett Randall orchestrated the attacks on the Dutton family in the “Yellowstone” Season 3 finale. But John and his cowboys don’t know that, instead spending their time chasing down one of Garrett’s sidekicks. Terrell Riggins is likely dead by now, but Garrett sure isn’t, and he promised to try and take down the Duttons again.
What do you think, Outsiders? Will John learn the truth about Garrett and act immediately? Or will the big cliffhanger that everyone’s talking about involve this revelation? Maybe the John v. Garrett storyline is something that carries over into Season 5. Or maybe he finishes the conflict right here and now, during the Season 4 finale.
What’s in Store for Beth and Rip on Tonight’s ‘Yellowstone’ Finale?
There’s one more thing we’d like to point out from “Yellowstone” star Cole Hauser’s recent Instagram post. On the TV Guide magazine cover, we see a quote from Hauser about the finale. He says, “In the finale, you’ll see the real risks that Rip and Beth both take.”
What could this mean for our favorite TV couple? Beth and Rip have already survived thick and thin, growing stronger both together and as individuals. The risks that Hauser mentions could mean risks they take with their relationship or physical risks that could hurt each of them.
The quote isn’t helped by Kelly Reilly’s comment on Hauser’s post. When he said “It all goes down tonight,” Reilly replied, “Yes it does,” with a heart emoji. We thought that Hauser’s caption meant it all goes down with the main conflict this season. But what if he’s referring to something going down between him and Beth?
A Beth and Rip breakup would be the one thing to absolutely devastated viewers during the “Yellowstone” season finale. But maybe their trials will just push them closer together than ever before, strengthening their bond. We’ll have to wait until 8 p.m. EST tonight to find out, Outsiders.
