Of all the terrific actors on the Paramount Network series “Yellowstone,” perhaps none have risen higher and faster than Cole Hauser.
“Yellowstone” fans know Cole Hauser as the menacing cowboy in black, the ruthless Rip Wheeler. Rip is one of if not the, most popular characters on the show and the credit goes to Cole Hauser. Tough as nails on the outside, Rip also has a very rarely seen softer side. Hauser does an incredible job of giving his character the layers needed to become a star. His work as Rip Wheeler has definitely paid off as Cole Hauser now has the irons in a couple of different fires. He is set to star alongside Hollywood megastar Morgan Freeman in an upcoming film among plenty of other projects as well.
The “Yellowstone” actor isn’t the only star actor in his family though. His wife, Cynthia Hauser, has also played numerous roles. Though Cynthia retired from acting in the early 2000s, she and her twin sister, Brittany Daniel, got quite a bit of work together. One of their most notable roles came as the Doublemint Gum twins in commercials for the product.
Cynthia Hauser also appears in “The Basketball Diaries” alongside Hollywood A-lister Leonardo DiCaprio. Her character’s name is “Winkie.”
Since her retirement from the acting world, Cynthia Hauser has been pursuing a career as a photographer. She is also active on social media, often sharing photos and stories from recent Hauser family adventures.
Cole and Cynthia have two young sons, Rylan and Colt, and a daughter, Steely Rose. The Hauser family loves to spend time together in the great outdoors and some of their favorite activities include camping, hiking and fishing. Cynthia Hauser’s latest Instagram post shows off her fashion sense.
‘Yellowstone’ Nearing the End of Season Four
It is hard to believe that there is only one more “Yellowstone” episode remaining in season four.
Where does Cole Hauser’s Rip Wheeler stand as we move toward the end? That is a question on the minds of a lot of “Yellowstone” fans.
Rip seems to have bonded nicely with Carter, even cheering him on as he beats the bunkhouse crew in a card game. Though the relationship got off to a rocky start, it seems to be progressing into a more positive interaction.
The same cannot be said about the relationship between Rip and his fiancée, Beth Dutton. Much like John Dutton has, Rip seems to be growing tired of Beth’s malicious activities. You can see it in his face when he sees Beth crying but does not come to her aid.
We’ll see what comes of this relationship, but it sure seems like “Yellowstone” fans are in for an exciting finish to season four.
