‘Yellowstone’ Star Gives Major Shout Out to ‘Amazing’ Native American Dancers & Musicians on Show

We are now two weeks and three episodes into the highly anticipated season four of “Yellowstone” and fans are giving it rave reviews.

“Yellowstone” fans praise the show for its realistic and authentic peek into the western cowboy culture. The show even features a couple of real deal cattle ranchers in Forrie J. Smith (Lloyd) and Mo Brings Plenty (Mo). “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan even sent the cast to “cowboy school” where they learned to ride and rope-like real cowboys. Watching “Yellowstone” makes you feel like you are on a cattle ranch, heading out to wrangle up some wayward cows.

The authenticity doesn’t end there and we are likely to get even more of it this season. “Yellowstone” personnel have said they strive to give the audience a real feel for the struggle facing modern ranches. They also want to portray the Native American culture with a sense of realness. A group of actual Native American singers and dancers will be featured in an upcoming episode. They will likely be playing members of the Broke Rock Tribe and will perform ritual dances and songs. “Yellowstone’ actor John Emmet Tracy was highly complimentary of the Native American group.

“It was a huge pleasure and honor to get to work in this scene with these amazing dancers and musicians,” Tracy says. “After many takes, during which they always gave 100%, the entire cast and crew gave them a huge round of applause and cheers!”

‘Yellowstone’ Episode Four of Season Four is Tonight

“Yellowstone” fans can’t wait for their next dose of the show, which will come tonight (Sunday). Will we see more of the Broken Rock Tribe and their leader, Thomas Rainwater?

Via a flashback in last week’s episode, we learn that rivalry between the tribe and the Dutton family has been raging for many years. There also doesn’t appear to be a resolution in sight — at least not in the short term.

The tribe and the Dutton family seem to have an uneasy truce at the moment. Rainwater ever voluntarily told John Dutton who organized the hit on him and his family. Rainwater’s enforcer, Mo, also tortured the man by tying him to a speeding horse. The man was then brought to John Dutton for him to do with as he pleases. John would later take the man to the “train station” and kill him.

“Yellowstone” fans can’t wait to see what the writers have cooked up for us this week.
