For her outstanding work on the hit television series “Yellowstone,” veteran actress Kelly Reilly is quickly becoming a household name.

On “Yellowstone,” Kelly Reilly plays the tough-talking but lovable and fierce Beth Dutton. One of the most popular characters on the show, Beth Dutton commands the viewer’s attention each and every time she appears on screen. Beth is the only daughter of “Yellowstone ranch owner John Dutton and is very loyal and protective of her father. She has become something of a cult hero to many viewers for her brash personality and fearlessness when approaching a challenge.

Through the fourth season, Beth Dutton once again proved that she is a force to be reckoned with as she single-handedly made a few game-changing moves. Putting her father and his ranch first, Beth always finds a way to outsmart the Dutton family’s enemies.

It is Beth Dutton’s tenacity that drew Kelly Reilly into the career-defining role. Speaking with her “Yellowstone” co-star Jefferson White, who plays Jimmy Hurdstrom, Reilly talks about reading the series pilot for the first time. She says that she had a good feeling about the show and Beth Dutton after reading the first script.

“When I first read the pilot, I literally had a sort of gut reaction,” she says. “You know when you read a script, and you’re like ‘maybe I can see myself doing it or maybe I can’t.’ I always have this idea that if you feel there is another actor in your head who can play the part better than you — you probably shouldn’t do it. But, there are some that really take hold of you. There is a feeling of ‘I need to play this character.’ I don’t know why but that is what I felt with Beth.”

‘Yellowstone’ Wraps Up Fourth Season in Grand Fashion

The fourth season finale of “Yellowstone” was a doozy that we will all remember for some time and Beth Dutton was right in the middle of it.

After a falling out with her father, the final episode begins with Beth packing her bags and looking to leave the ranch. Instead of leaving her home, she makes peace with her father, apologizing for her malicious behavior.

She then seeks out information that she will later use to blackmail her adopted brother, Jamie Dutton. Her plan works as she convinces Jamie that the only way to save himself is to kill his biological father, Garrett Randall. Jamie does exactly that and Beth now has all the leverage she needs against her brother.

In the middle of all the “Yellowstone” craziness, we get a beautiful moment we have all been waiting for. Beth marries her love, Rip Wheeler, on the ranch. It’s a touching moment that offsets a little of the madness.

We can’t wait to see what season five will bring for Kelly Reilly and Beth Dutton.
