We’re just a few days away from the return of “Yellowstone” and the excitement level continues skyward.
“Yellowstone” will make its triumphant return to our television set and to our hearts this Sunday. As excited as fans are for the upcoming fourth season they are certainly not the only ones. Several members of the show’s cast have shared they are looking forward to seeing in the new season. With the premiere nearly here, we are seeing “Yellowstone” actors open up a little bit more in recent interviews. Wes Bentley (Jamie Dutton), Gil Birmingham (Thomas Rainwater) and Cole Hauser (Rip Wheeler) are among the actors declaring their excitement for what’s to come. All of these “Yellowstone” stars say to expect a ton of action to start off the new season.
Kelsey Asbille, who plays Monica Dutton on “Yellowstone,” is another cast member giving fans a taste of what’s to come. Monica Dutton figures to factor in heavily in season four storylines. Recently released teaser trailers show her in trouble at the ranch as it appears an attack is taking place. In a recent interview, Asbille talks all things “Yellowstone” season four. Asked to provide a single word to describe the latest season of the show, Asbille doesn’t hesitate.
“Unexpected,” she says.
The actress also teases another strong ending to the upcoming season in the interview.
“Biggest cliffhanger they’ve had so far,” she says.
Those are mighty big words from the “Yellowstone” star considering the third season finale is considered one of the greatest cliffhangers of all time. If the show can find a way to outdo the end of season three — well, that would just be an incredible feat.
‘Yellowstone’ Star Kelsey Asbille Teases Another Cliffhanger
While the ending to the fourth season may or may not be as great as the ending to the third season — we are all excited for the journey.
Asbille is also among the “Yellowstone” cast members to tell fans they might want to buckle up for the beginning of a new season. There will reportedly be a ton of action to begin the new season and that is music to the ears of “Yellowstone” fans.
“So, we pick up where we left off and it is kind of a crazy opening,” she says of season four.
Kelsey Asbille also teases that dark times may be ahead for Monica and Kayce as the season rolls along. She says the couple will “have it out” and that is necessarily a bad thing.
“It’s going to get dark and they’re going to have it out (Kayce and Monica) and they really need to,” she says.
We will find out just how dark it’s going to get with the two-episode premiere this Sunday.
