As if he didn’t already have enough on his plate, “Yellowstone” star Kevin Costner recently kicked off a tour with his band.

Kevin Costner and Modern West were in Nashville, Tennessee earlier this week to play the Ryman Auditorium. While in the Music City, he took a few minutes to share his thoughts on the upcoming new “Yellowstone” season. He also opens up on the difficulties of being part of a touring band. There aren’t many things Kevin Costner cannot do — but being in two places at one time is one of them. How does the Hollywood icon fit it all into his already busy schedule? He opens up about life on the road in the recent interview with Extra.

“We’re doing 13 shows,” Costner notes before taking the Ryman Auditorium stage. “That’s a lot of me to be away from home, 16 nights, but we’re gonna be playing almost every night. I love to play live. This band is the same band you met a long, long time ago.”

Kevin Costner and his band are touring in support of their most recent album, “Tales From Yellowstone,” which is inspired by his hit show. The movie star plays guitar and serves as the lead singer for Modern West. It’s all in a day’s work for Costner, who resembles Superman with all of his talents and qualities.

“My function in the band is I break all the ties,” he says jokingly “Hopefully, that means the cream gets to the top. That usually means most of my songs don’t make it.”

Kevin Costner and Modern West have a rather unique sound that borders between a country and rock band. They are really a treat to listen to and put on a wonderful live show as well.

‘Yellowstone’ Star Kevin Costner Takes to the Road With Band

Kevin Costner isn’t the only member of his family with musical gifts. His daughter, Lily, helped write “Heaven’s Gate,” a song on the band’s latest album. Costner says his daughter is an incredible songwriter with great talent.

“She’s just like this hidden person that just stays in the corner,” he says.

The “Yellowstone” star says if anyone in the family is going to follow in his footsteps as an actor, his other daughter, Grace, is the prime candidate. Costner says Grace is already honing her acting skills each and every night.

“Grace could probably act because she acts every night,” he says. She tries to be the boss of me.”

We are just a few days away from Kevin Costner’s return to our television sets and our hearts. “Yellowstone” will premiere its fourth and latest season on Sunday, Nov. 7.

So mark your calendars “Yellowstone” fans — our long wait will soon be coming to an end.
