Kevin Costner talks of romance. And as Valentine’s Day approaches, we all swoon. The Yellowstone star understands it, perfectly.

Basically, the actor who plays John Dutton and so many other strong male types, knows good romance. And he knows he already has it with wife, Christine Baumgartner.

Kevin Costner discussed romantic places in a video clip posted by the travel app Herehear.dom. (He’s a co-founder of the app). Costner is asked about romantic places.

“One of the most charming places for me to go romantically is anywhere with my wife,” Costner said. “But I like the San Ysidro Ranch right here in Montecito. That’s just been our place.

“We also live in Aspen. I’ve been lucky enough to live in the places that really speak out loud to me. And I love having dinner with my wife at Cache Cache in Aspen.

First Spot on the Kevin Costner Romance List

Kevin Costner mentioned the San Ysidro Ranch. It’s near his home in gorgeous Santa Barbara, the coastal California town on the Pacific Ocean. The resort has been around for a century. It’s guest list is dotted with celebrities and other important folks. John F. Kennedy and Jackie spent their honeymoon there in 1953. Katherine Schwarzenegger, daughter of Arnold and grand niece of JFK, married Chris Platt there last summer. Other celebrities on the guest list? How about old Hollywood’s Vivien Leigh and Laurence Olivier. Or Gwyneth Paltrow and her former husband, Chris Martin?

The resort says it has offered a “tranquil vacation destination for discriminating travelers
for over a century. This Santa Barbara hideaway has drawn many notable guests over the years
with a flawless blend of natural beauty, romantic heritage and classic luxury. Myth and history
mingle in the lush gardens as hummingbirds and honeybees offer a gentle score of serenity.”

Yes, it sounds blissful.

How Romantic Is Aspen?

Kevin Costner also has a home in Aspen. He’s recommending Cache Cache for a romantic dinner. The restaurant touts its vast wine list, with more than 100 pages of listings on its menu. You can order a Colorado filet mignon for $75 and add some pomme frites with green peppercorns for $20.

Kevin Coster and his wife, Christine Baumgartner married at their ranch in Aspen on Sept. 25, 2004. Baumgartner was a purse designer and model. They dated for four years before tying the knot. Now, they have three children.

There’s Another Very Costner Way To Celebrate Valentine’s Day

Paramount Network is celebrating Kevin Costner all weekend. The network promoted its programming earlier this week on social media.

“This Valentine’s Day weekend, enjoy the gift of Kevin Costner” an announcer says during the video clip.

You can binge all episodes of Yellowstone, plus watch “Draft Day” and “The Guardian.”
