The more recognition that “Yellowstone” star Mo Brings Plenty gets on the show, the happier fans are. We’ve learned more about his character in nine episodes than we have in the previous three seasons combined, and we are not complaining.
During this past episode, Mo also got a special shoutout from the official “Yellowstone” Twitter account because he sang a song that was played during the episode. The show’s Twitter account wrote last night, “And finally: ‘Brings Plenty’ by Mo Brings Plenty.”
While the song hasn’t yet been added to the show’s official Spotify playlist, fans can also listen to it about 53 minutes into the episode. We hear Mo chanting as he and Kayce spend the night in a handmade tent or shelter. Mo’s voice is emotional and beautiful, echoing through the mountains with only nature-made sounds to accompany it.
But this isn’t Mo’s first musical foray. Per the “Yellowstone” fan Wiki page, Mo Brings Plenty also joined the famous Native American new-age band Brulé from 2006 to 2010. The band is based out of South Dakota, where Mo’s also from. They’ve been performing on stage across America for 20 years, with both traditional Native American instruments and a five-piece rock ensemble.
Per the band’s website, they’re called “one of the top-selling Native American adult/rock music groups” out there. Though the “Yellowstone” star hasn’t played with Brulé in over a decade, Mo clearly hasn’t lost his touch.
‘Yellowstone’ Fans Praise Mo Brings Plenty’s Song and His Character on the Show
All season long, “Yellowstone” fans have been raving about Mo’s character. While it’s good and fine to root for the Duttons, there’s something about Mo that just makes the show ten times better. And after listening to his song last night, even more “Yellowstone” fans expressed their support for him.
Fans took their support to the comments on the official “Yellowstone” Twitter account’s post about his song. They also commented on Mo’s Instagram post previewing the episode. Let’s see what they had to say.
“Mo is the unsung hero of this series,” one Twitter user wrote.
A fan named Barbara said, “Let’s all listen to Mo & do what Mo says.”
“Love your teaching scenes Mo. I have lots of love and respect for you. Many blessings,” another fan commented.
“Mo is one of my favorites! You make this show better!” someone else wrote.
Another said, “Mo is my favorite character on Yellowstone. He has a steadiness that keeps everything grounded.”
One person even called out the various commercials for Taylor Sheridan’s other shows. “Much rather see this than all that 1883 and 4 6s stuff.”
Will Mo have an even bigger character arc for the “Yellowstone” Season 4 finale and upcoming Season 5? Stay tuned to find out, Outsiders.
