“Yellowstone” actor Mo Brings Plenty is among the cast members that have real-life experience in working with a cattle ranch.
Brings Plenty along with fellow cast members Forrie J. Smith and Hassie Harrison all have cowboy culture experience. Having real-life cowboys and cowgirls on “Yellowstone” really adds to the show’s authenticity. It is also easy to tell that these three actors know what they are doing a top of a speeding horse. Each of the actors appears totally natural and in their element on the show.
On Tuesday, Mo Brings Plenty took to social media to share a few photos of his ranch work with fans. The “Yellowstone” star and his family spent a good portion of the wrangling cattle and getting them for a yearly check-up. It isn’t easy work, as any rancher will tell you, but it’s very rewarding work. As Brings Plenty says in the caption, there’s “nothing better” than a day out on the ranch. Though they had some uncooperative weather, it looks like the wrangling team enjoyed themselves on a soggy day.
“Pic from the other day when we were ‘riding in the rain,'” He says in the Instagram caption. “If I hadn’t been worried about ruining my phone, I would have taken video when it came down. It poured all day and it was awesome!”
Spoken like a true “Yellowstone” cowboy.
‘Yellowstone’ Star Enjoys Riding on a Rainy Day
Brings Plenty says he actually enjoys rainy days and the soggy conditions made the work even more enjoyable.
“It wasn’t muggy and it wasn’t cold and it was a warm rain, which I love,” he says, I’d stay out for days working cattle under conditions like that; I don’t care about mud — mud’s good!”
The “Yellowstone” actor says it was a good day for him and his family to get out on the ranch and take care of some business. Brings Plenty shares four photos of their rainy day work in the social media post.
“By the time we got home, we were soaked and our faces full of the mud that got kicked up throughout the day,” he explains. “And there is nothing better. It was a good day!”
On “Yellowstone,” Brings Plenty plays “Mo,” an advisor and personal enforcer to Broken Rock Chief Thomas Rainwater. Through the first three seasons of the show, Mo has become a favorite of “Yellowstone” fans. His calm demeanor and favor of peace make him one of the most likable characters on the show. But, Mo isn’t someone you would want to cross as he has demonstrated a couple of times just how capable he is.
It will be interesting to see what season four has in store for Mo. Should he and Rainwater’s other top advisor, Angela Blue Thunder, cross paths — that could make for an explosive confrontation.
